I have a mini pc mounted to the back of my monitor at work. This is supposed to sit on a cart with a power supply so this PC can be entirely mobile. Both PC and Monitor use the same size 12v adapters. With a pair of these cables and a high voltage charge block I can now power both from the same plug. Freed up a plug on my power strip, removed a lot of cable management, and made my mobile setup simpler.

Bought 2x of these cables, both were labelled as 12vdc but were actually configured for 9vdc.

As advertised... I ordered the 20 volt version so I could power an Asus NUC 14 Pro miniPC (upto 90w max) in a mobile setup running off a UGreen GaN 12 volt charger with PD 3.1 The cable is good quality and the universal end adapter which was included is a nice bonus for techies.

Works great for running a starlink mini from a proper usb adapter.

I use these to power digital pianos off of Anker power banks at conferences. Most pianos are 12 volts and can run all day connected by this cable to a power bank that has USB-C and can make 12V. This would also be great for a street performer or gigging musician. The only downside is that sometimes the cable dies, so you will need to bring along an extra one in case that happens. Luckily they are not too expensive.

This works perfectly for me I thought I would explain to people how this actually works what it does is it asks the USB charger or port for whatever voltage that the cable is it does not step 5 volts up to this you have to have a USBC charger that is capable of putting out whatever voltage that the cable is if that's the voltage you want If you have a 100 watt charger that will do a maximum of 20 volts so you can use a 20 volt cable

Bueno, para lo que lo quería funciona, que es para poder alimentar de manera externa mi Echo Show 8 2gen, o más bien su base con batería. Como podéis ver en el vídeo, la batería le suministra 20V de tensión, y 0.3A, y me funciona tanto para el Echo Show 8 2gen, como para su base con batería, y lo más importante... el cable soporta los 20V. Importante... si lo queréis para lo mismo que yo, vuestra batería o cargador externo ha de ser de como mínimo 30W y poder suministrar 20V, (mi batería externa es de 65W como veis en el vídeo) Luego el cable, de todos los modelos que hay, tiene que ser el de 20V de 5,5x2,5 y lo suyo, es usarlo sólo para la base cargador aunque como habéis visto, también funciona con el dispositivo. Como veis en la foto, este cable también viene con una toma hembra a la que le podéis conectar el cable de un adaptador al que se os haya roto la clavija (tener en cuenta la polaridad, que en corriente continua es importante) Contento con el cable sí. Cumple la función que dice... y soporta 20V. Le doy una puntuación de 8 sobre 10. ¿Qué le habría faltado? Pues venir protegido con malla de tela, lo que aumentaría su calidad. Pero en definitiva, el cable funciona, que es lo importante, y más importante todavía... funciona para lo que yo lo quería.

Premessa: ho comprato una ciabatta smart compatibile Smartlife con 4 shuko e 3 usb PD per gestire e monitorare due PC e due monitor sulla scrivania. Problema: la vecchia ciabatta non aveva le usb ma 6 prese, per cui mi sono trovato due apparecchi (Timvision e fotocamera Sony usata come webcam) da alimentare. Soluzione: un normale cavo usb per la Sony e questo fantastico cavetto per uscire in 12v verso il decoder Timvision! Questi cavi aprono infinite possibilità per tutti quelli apparecchi -router, switch, decoder, raspberry, ecc ecc ecc- che prima erano vincolati ad un alimentatore dedicato per voltaggi diversi dal 5v e/o amperaggi superiori ad una usb standard. Il prezzo è più che giustificato per quello che offrono!

I ordered this cable to connect a 12v led strip to a power bank. This led strip was came with a AC/DC transformator to wall plug, but i wanted to connect it to a power bank so i needed this cable to trigger 12 v from the power bank and support above 30 watts to give enough power to the led strip. This cable was the solution, he is negotiatin the 12v with the power bank and the led strips are working.
