At last! A seller who describes the colour of the lenses, in this case a warm brown, not a dull grey
Lightweight, seem robust, good quality Polarised lenses. Fit well on the face, not in danger of falling off.Comfortable to wear.

Unbelievable value and excellent UV protection.
2nd of 2 models, different suppliers, ordered on Tuesday 30 July, both arrived Thursday 1 August, and on Standard Postage too! Worn for 1st time Wednesday 7 August. Purchased for cycling (suitable for any active sport, say cricket, running, tennis). Amber lenses, ideal for bright sun, equally good in general high and broken cloud. Wrap around design, has side protection lens for each eye Good hockey stick on arms, also tight across the skull, keeps prescription glasses up. Easily worth purchasing just for that gain! Keeps dust, midges and light rain off prescription lenses. Black polyester carry bag included. Lower frame does create a slight blindspot for cycling, but I'm able to eyeball 'below' that frame hence OK on vision. Nowhere near as awkward as wearing skiing goggles in rain, as goggles have black foam padding, create massive blindspot. Ideal OTG sunglasses for walking and trekking.

Very effective
These did fit well over my glasses & my frames aren’t exactly small so I was pleased & a little surprised with that. They don’t quite block all light coming from the top & bottom, I tried them without my glasses too & it was the same both ways but they do block light from the side & most light from the front so coverage is pretty good. I’m waiting for cataract surgery & really struggle with bright sunlight, even indoors, as soon as I put these on it was a huge relief & very effective, I find the colour quite relaxing too so overall pleased & would recommend.

The benefits are clear to see!
Having spent a small fortune on new glasses I’d no budget left for prescription sunglasses. I hadn’t even thought of fitovers, I’ve the optician to thank for that but they are outstanding! Never would I have thought that they would work as well as they do, especially when they’re so inexpensive. My specs fit snugly inside and I find I get a better optical result if I fit them together then put them on. The ‘shield’ at eyebrow level is great for blocking out unwanted and unfiltered light and the small side lenses do a great job of reducing glare. I do a lot of fishing and I was astonished at how good they are. The polarising is also very good and a real benefit when looking into rivers, lakes and the sea. I would like to see at least the option of a hard case but I’ve a spare that I can use. I’ll probably get a second pair for the car and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these excellent fitovers.

Excellent glasses for driving in sun
Really fit well over both my prescription glasses. Already have a pair which live in one of my cars. Bought these to live in the other one, so I never get caught out in the car when sun is bad.. brilliant price for such good quality. Actually look really nice on.. Would recommend buying. Free returns mean you have nothing to lose, but I love them.

Great for the price
Great for the price. In the light of some of the feedback I quite expected to be sending them back ! However, they fit neatly and securely over both my 14 & 14.5cm wide (knuckle to knuckle) and quite deep bifocals, and could possibly take frames up to 2 or 3 mm wider. The hanging label states them to be ideal for driving, and the visual degradation in image quality resulting from the polarising lens is near undetectable (with my glasses my vision is 20/20) and I have no hesitation in driving in them. Note though, that I would not in an open car unless wearing a cap or sun visor to prevent light falling on the top of the lens combination which considerably reduces contrast; in fact, with the sun high in the sky one needs to shield the top pf the glasses to get the full benefit from the over glasses. After a few decades with clip-ons that over time lead to damage to the lenses and rarely cover large spectacle lenses totally, I am very happy being able to benefit again from polarising lenses as in my pre-spectacle days when I had a polarising visor-style pair of sunglasses. Being so agreeably light and having delicate plastic lenses, one obviously needs to always handle them with care, but apart from accidents I do not expect to experience any mechanical failures as the arms and hinges are substantial for the weight of the sunglasses, I am very pleased that I find I can fully agree with the vast majority of purchasers who award them five stars.

Perfect!
I’ve had eye problems and needed sunglasses that could be worn over my glasses or contact lenses and these are a perfect choice. They have to be large to fit over glasses but they aren’t ugly and they are equally good worn without glasses underneath as they fit snugly. They are a lovely tortoise shell colour too, and comfortable too. No runny eyes in the bright sun anymore and now I should be able to see clearly despite not having a pair of prescription sunglasses! The glasses don’t show so nobody can see that they are underneath the sunglasses.

OK but not quite up to scratch
The Good: The do fit over my rather wide specs, they are OK in bright UK conditions. Considering their size they are light to wear. The arms are reasonably flexible and are curved inwards so they should fit a fairly wide range of head sizes. The Bad: They need persuading (by gently bending the arms appart) to get them over my specs (which are 45mm wide) when putting them on and taking them off. This is because the hinges on the arms intrude inside. So when putting them on and off it's necesseray to get past this obstruction. Considering how large they are I was surprised that they do let in light from the bottom which is less than ideal. The top rubs against my eyebrows. Not been a problem but I've not worn them for an extended period yet, could be quite annoying. The Ugly (or not): I bought these after a fair bit of research. They sounded like they would do the trick for me but I didn't like the mottled finish shown in the photo. The pair I received are plain black - much more to my taste but if you like the patterned finish you maybe disapointed.
