Why did you choose this product over others?: Excellent tension. Very stable. Good value for money. Easy to install. Looks good and easy to put use with light drapes, curtains and decorations. Would recommend and would always use this brand.

This worked to keep my curtains up. But initially, it wasn't staying up because I bought a size that extended to almost the exact width of the window space I wanted to cover, so the spring inside was not being compressed enough for there to be enough tension for it to stay up. I fixed this by adding a command strip to one end of the wall that the rod end was hitting to increase tension inside the rod so it stays up. There's still a bit of a bend in the middle because of the mistake I made in the size. So I RECOMMEND YOU GET A SIZE THAT EXTENDS BEYOND THE WIDTH OF THE AREA YOU WANT THE ROD TO GO IN BY 10CM+, so it stays up more sturdily when you twist and fit the rod in. For example, if you have a width of 120cm, get a rod that extends beyond 120cm by at least 10cm (so something that extends to 130cm +) for it to stay up really really well. The heavier your curtains, the higher the max extension length you want, while obviously making sure the smallest length the rod extends to, is still smaller than your width. The only other thing I have to say, is that I wish the rod was thicker, it would look nicer. I've added a picture to show how thick it is inside a normal size curtain ring.

God this arrived super quick which was brilliant and it's such good quality for a great price. I would totally recommend this product.

Value for money, study and great for voiles and net curtain. Haven't tried it on curtains.
