OSK PW-28C 月花 Lunch Box, Polypropylene, Red

The box arrived in its original plastic wrapping with the cloth pouch neatly folded inside the packaging. On first impression, it's quite small (my last box was almost a litre capacity) but having looked through the reviews already provided I was awarer that this might be the case. Despite this, it's proved to be sufficient for a reasonable portion of rice in the lower section with a selection of veg/cooked tofu pieces in the top. If you have a larger appetite, you might want to look at products over 600ml so that you've got the extra capacity. I can't say whether or not it's leakproof as I haven't tried to transport anything "wet" in it. I know it says it's microwaveable but I prefer not to use items like this for reheating food. As I like to eat sushi or onigiri with salad or veg for lunch (when I remember to make it), this little box is sufficient for transporting ready to eat meals to work. The box is really pretty and comes with a pair of plastic chopsticks, which is really handy. As it's not overly large, it's easy to transport and there's plenty of room for it in my insulated lunch bag along with a drink and fruit. I would add that the box is quite narrow (please check the description for measurements). Overall I'm happy with my purchase - it's big enough for my needs, looks really cute and is easy to carry.

I was expecting a slightly bigger package when this arrived, but after filling it up with foods i realized it's actually quite generous with space! I've managed to fit in a rice bowl full of rice in the lower tier, and the top tier is deep enough to fit in generously filled gyoza's and thick tamagoyaki's! It is microwavable as well, although I keep it safe by unassembling it down to the red containers only and microwaving those parts just in case the separators warp and don't fit again. This definitely is enough to fill me up proper during lunch, and like most reviewers have confirmed, whilst it's not advertised as leakproof, I have had watery kimchi shoved in there haphazardly and it still kept its contents within when I ran to work! I have had plenty of colleagues ask me why I've been boujie with my lunches, but take a look at their corner shop sandwiches and look at my pack up again, and see who's really laughing here. :D

I read a lot of reviews stating that this was small, and yes i do agree it’s small, but it also holds more than you’d expect. It’s the perfect size for me for lunch, I don’t like feeling extremely stuffed at lunch as that makes me tired and I won’t be able to study as well as I’ll keep feeling sleepy and will nod off. I don’t use the chopsticks so can’t comment on that, I love the addition of the bag and just throw my spoon in there so everything is in one place. Clean up is pretty easy, I don’t put it in the dishwasher as I use it daily but washing it by hand is super fast and easy, I also don’t put it in the microwave as I don’t like heating up plastic; too many health risks involved that I’d rather not take. Not sure how leakproof it is as i haven’t carried anything liquid in it, I don’t think it’s meant to hold liquids so I doubt it’s leakproof, but I think it should be fine if the liquids aren’t very runny and you’re not throwing it around in every direction and keeping it upright. I love that it’s thin so it’s super easy to carry around with me whilst also ensuring it stays upright, which was the main reason I wanted a lunchbox in this style. Definitely recommend it as it’s great quality

I was very doubting before purchasing this box, because I was worried about size, leakage, microwave safety and so on. However, when this box arrived, I fell in love. It looks small and cute, and a cutie bag... but actually, if you fill the whole level with a main dish, that's enough to feed you for one meal time. Upper level is slightly bigger (very convenient for storing). They can be used separately, what also is nice. And, what is truly important, they haven't let me down with a liquids. Ofc, there are no leakproof sealing, so I understand that I can't handle with soup or runny broth, but other sauces are ok. I expected something worse. In addition, its ok to heat box in microwave, just do it without a lid. (Never tried to do so, but have some thoughts thats it will end the life of the lid.)

It took an understandable amount of time to arrive, all in original packaging from Japan. On the small side, but perfect for controlling portion size (plus you can pack a surprising amount in)! A shame it's not wider, but there are two layers so chopping things in half solves the problem usually. The divider and compact chopsticks are invaluable and the bag has received many compliments. Microwave safe too! Actual liquids are not usually intended for bento but things like potato salad haven't leaked yet- just definitely make use of the elastic or a separate tub if using leaky foods. Have been able to create plenty of new dishes since it arrived, my whole diet has been healthier. Thank you so much!

Great little storage, smaller then expected, so be aware as you won’t fit a full lunch in there, other then that it’s good

This is a beautiful sized bento box. It is small, but if it is filled correctly, then you can get plenty of food in it. It could also be used for transporting craft supplies and comes in a beautiful little bag.

Un peu plus petite qu'imaginée malgré les dimensions précisées. Elle sera peut être un peu juste niveau taille pour le repas d'un adulte.

Nice and good. Not too small. But the chopstick that came with it is a bit small.
