Great!
I have menorrhagia, extreme bleeding, which is normally only barely helped by the biggest period cups on the market and pads the size of an adult diaper. Menstrual discs are by far the best brakes I have come across, they significantly slow down things so I can get to the bathroom in time in the mornings and not cause a flood during a sneeze. The first 2 days of my cycle I always always have to wear night time pads in addition to absolutely anything I put 'up there' because it will definitely leak, but that's a me-problem and not a product-problem. On day 3++ they are enough on their own so I can stop wearing pads. (I manually fully empty when on toilet on day 3 to avoid leakage) Love that they partially empty themselves when I go toilet so I don't have to empty manually every time, like I would have to do with a suction reliant device like a cup. I have used a different brand of disposable discs before and really loved those too, the only real difference would be that these have a slightly softer ring so I don't notice ANY discomfort on my bladder or urinary tract. I find them easy to both insert and take out, just hook a finger on the ring in the front and pull out. Compared to a tampon these things are a godsend; not once have I felt the occasional grueling pain of pulling an xxl tampon out, and not ever have I been worried about toxic shock or been grossed out about where that moist string has drifted off to. I wouldn't use a tampon again if I was paid to do so. These discs aren't exactly cheap, but I make a box last about a year with only using one disc per period, so I get a lot of value out of one pack. I have previously had a reusable disc that worked just as well, only issue was that I really didn't feel like I managed to get it properly cleaned between uses so it got discoloured, and I didn't want to carry it around in my bag as it was in a fairly large bright silicone case. The disposable one I can keep in my bag as they are quite small and don't really stand out. Highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Can’t believe how amazing these are!
I think this is probably the first review I have ever posted on a product I have brought, but tried these and they are too good to not review. So simple to insert, I actually found it easy than tampons. It was comfortable as soon as it was inserted, never felt it and never leaked. I managed to keep mine in for 7 hours with a heavy flow, and quite a bit of exercise without it leaking. I suppose they are like tampons you eventually learn the length of duration as you go. It leaked a tiny bit after the 7 hours which was obviously a sign to change, but I always wear either a pad or liner anyway:l. Removal was a lot messier than tampons, however nothing major. I’m definitely moving onto these from now on and going to look at a reuse-able one. 100/10!!

Leaks, expensive, environmental nightmare, dangerous instructions
I bought these as a cheaper alternative to try out before investing in a more expensive reusable one, although probably should have just ordered a 1 month flex subscription and then cancelled. I found it easy enough to insert (although it’s a bit like stuffing a plastic bag into your vagina) and get out and I couldn’t feel it once it was in but it leaked and after a few hours felt really odd. It also obstructed my urine flow which was worrying and the manufacturer’s advice to “bear down” to get it out is really risky for your pelvic floor and risks giving you an irreversible prolapse (relax, DO NOT BEAR DOWN). I don’t honestly think you could have sex with one of these in unless he liked feeling it... In addition the waste with these things is horrifying. Thick plastic wrappers, thick silicone ring, plastic bag catch for the blood - and all into landfill. Throwing it away hurt more than my period cramps...

leaks and therefore not leakproof/ not worksafe
its really comfy and and (mostly) does what it claims on the box, namely that there is no odour and it prevents dryness so its better than a tampon. but no matter how i tried to fit it, it leaked for me. i placed it behind the pubic bone so i think it covered the cervix at the front but not at the back. i tried two discs, for 24hrs but same result. shame. i am back to tampons. i need safety at work.

Would recommend
This is my first time using a product like this and I’ve never even used a cup! First impressions were that they were massive and I was positive someone would hear the rustling of the centre but once I’d gotten over the shock and gave them a go, thought they were great! It takes a bit of practise probably best to do this before your period as I found out but doesn’t take long! I wore a pad for the first couple of days expecting accidents but nothing happened, getting them out to empty is something that will take a little while longer to practise but still not a massive issue just ensure you are standing over a towel or the toilet first couple of times I’d say! Game changer when it comes to period sex too! I’d buy again.

More uncomfortable than a tampon
One size does not fit all. I thought about getting a reusable disk and thought I’d try this out to see. I have a low cervix and the cups weren’t it. It makes sense doesn’t it. Of course it’s not one size fits all nothing ever is. Obviously some people have different size/shaped vaginas. Anyway it was huge. I could get it tucked under the pubic bone but at what cost? I’m trying these as I have endometriosis and really heavy periods and tampons hurt now. This was worse. I tried to persevere for a few days. Idk why that’s always the answer maybe if you suffer for 3 cycles you’ll “get the hang of it”. Maybe we know our bodies and what is and isn’t working for us. I’m glad it’s working for other people. Disappointed it wasn’t the one for me. Back to the drawing board. Having a uterus sucks

They work, but not for everyone
So I've been using these for 20 years now, they used to be called instead in the States. I rarely encounter leaks, they're comfortable, you can have sex with them in. I have tried other cups but struggle to find any that work as well as these, other cups are harder to get out, which is a little scary, these are not difficult and I find them super easy to deal with. With that said, I've recommended them to friends and rarely have they worked for them, so it's about finding the product that works for you, with that said these are amazing if they work for you so worth trying.

Best cup for period sex.
Brilliant - wow. After trying several cups with lots of disappointment I tried these. Absolutely perfect. No leakage. Can have sex with them they can't be felt and no spills. Super easy to insert and take out. I recommend they are taken out in the shower though as their is loads of blood when you take it out so toilet seat or shower. They don't have suction which is what made it difficult for me with other reputable cups. They are pricey though however I think it's good to buy and keep a stash for special occasions!
