Excellent picks!
Love these picks, great for bluegrass style picking and for bringing projection and brightness out of your acoustic. I’ve become so used to them I’ve started using them for electric guitar as well. More than a match for a Bluechip TP, but at a relative fraction of the cost. Well worth the money for a pack of three. Highly recommended!

Pick a Primetone!
I can't normally get on with picks much over 1mm (maybe because I was a guitarist/teno banjo player for many years before I acquired a mandolin). Did a lot of research and it seems the Primetone is well respected by the pros and holds it own with the Wegens, Blue Chips, etc. I have the 1.5mm version and am adapting to the heavier pick very well - definitely works better for double course instruments. Hard to see the justification for paying maybe six times more for the top-of-range-picks when the difference is going to be extremely marginal for most pickers.

great picks
really great tone on the acoustic guitar, this pick is made for alternating picking and sweep, works really good for. also they last forever. 10/10

Nice picks they produce a nice tone
Nice picks they produce a nice tone. I am using mine for mandolin hence I chose the 1.4 large triangle. Drop,s a star as I could have got cheaper from String Busters or Strings Direct. Also can get a little slippery if you hands sweat. Good service from supplier well packed and well on time with the delivery.

Just the mandolin pick I've been looking for!

Bit more expensive than the picks I usually buy. Got them thinking they were cheap alternatives to Tone Slab picks that a friend was raving about. Really like them. I've already lost 0ne though, which is a killer.

Bluegrass player, wanted for backup pick to my regular Blue Chip TP50. Best non premium pick I've used. Comparable to Blue Chip TAD55. I have Prime Tone 1.3's on order, but haven't received them yet. These are reasonably grippy and have good overall tone. Maybe slightly more pick noise than a blue chip but not so you would find annoying, and not noticeable in a bluegrass jam. Have used Ultex picks for years and these are the same material, but importantly have a proper speed bevel.

Good cut and easy to grip

My new favorite "cheap" mandolin pick, although the quality of this pick is not cheap in any way. I'm comparing them to Blue Chip picks which I've been using regularly and which I really love. The comparison is that these Dunlop picks are 95% of what the Blue Chips are but at less than 10% of the price. That is a deal. In fact, I've been playing with these Dunlops more than my Blue Chips lately and I'm very satisfied with them. They glide off the strings nicely with a great tone and the texture is easy to grip for me. I love the big rounded triangles. These picks are a game changer if I want to play out and not lose my expensive picks. Highly recommend for mandolin!
