This item is very sleek and looks very cool. Unfortunately this item does not charge items very well. I used it to plug in my iPhone while using my computer. It was plugged in for several hours and only charge my phone 10%. I tried using the different ports but, none of them worked well.In a pinch, this item will work well for plugging stuff in so use while your computer but, don't expect it to charge anything sugnificantly.

I've got a compact Dell laptop for work. It's nice and small, but the downside is that it only has 2 USB C ports. One is needed for charging, so that didn't leave much room for anything else. This little hub is great since it passes power through. I can have a hub for power and accessories and still have one port open for my portable monitor (which has to be directly connected to the laptop, it can't go through a hub).The little hub is solid and connects easily. It's nice and compact and fits in a little pocket in my backpack perfectly. I can connect my mouse, keyboard, flashdrive, etc all at the same time, no problem. I highly recommend.

I got this in the hope of hooking two of my USB-C monitors up through my laptop's only fancy (data & power) USB-C port. Unfortunately that doesn't work out of the box, because the monitors will flash red-green-blue-white-black. It may be a driver issue, but the hub doesn't have drivers and the monitors work fine when plugged in directly. No biggie though.It DOES work out of the box for both my microphone and my drawing tablet, though!I appreciate that it has both USB-C and A ports, although I would like more C ports (there's only two).It's not the smallest but it's fairly compact, and it feels decently well made. Overall I'd recommend it.
