So my back box threads were shot, I’d tried and failed with the type that have bolts that you adjust with points on each end. Was about to smash my back box, and new tiles off, but saw these so took a chance. They were a little big for my 74mm box, so I just nipped a little bit off the end and voila, absolutely amazing. I am over the moon. They also take the standard 3.5mm screws that come with UK fronts.

Disappointing as too big for the depth of the back box

Great idea but they don’t fit in shallow back boxes and the screw heads are too big to fit in white plastic socket faces.

I got these to repair a 25mm backbox but the 25mm backbox is not deep enough to use this item. Should work fine with a 38mm. Also the screws are 4mm not the standard 3.5 cm plate screws you would expect which may cause problems.

To small for standard UK plugs

Poor fit difficult to get into socket box,screws not standard size,generally didn't work.

Screw heads don't sit below flush with even the most basic of sockets/light switches. Brass coloured screws too not as shown. Returned for refund
