Love these pens! The colors are vibrant and they write really smoothly. The erasable feature works great and makes them perfect for planners, notes, or anything you might want to change later. Such a fun set to use — highly recommend!

I’d give these pens a solid five stars. They’re not perfect, but they’re pretty darn good. I typically use the PaperMate Felt Pens, and I find these FriXion Marker Pens to be quite comparable—and an excellent replacement for me. THE COLOR These pens are super vibrant. The colors truly pop, even against my pink note paper. THE INK These pens use marker-like ink, so it’s a bold point, which I appreciate. The ink dries relatively quickly, so there’s not much smudging across the paper. THE DESIGN I must admit that these pens are quite chic. They’re nice looking pens, but I wish they had a standard pocket clip on the cap to hold them in place when inside of my bag. THE FEEL I wouldn’t describe these pens as smooth (not in the way I would describe a gel or ballpoint pen) but I do like how they write. They’re a little scratchy, similar to a mechanical pencil, but I don’t hate it. THE ERASER The eraser works well (see video), especially for the type of marker-like ink these pens use. The erasers don’t completely remove the ink, but what they do remove is impressive to me. THE COST For this 12-pack, each pen comes out to be $1.03, which I think is fair. OVERALL I would certainly purchase these pens again, and yes, I would recommend these pens to a friend.

A social worker at my son’s school recommended the FriXion line for my Autistic son after she used her FriXion erasable pen to help transition him from my husband and I leaving the classroom from the community reading environment for the kindergartners, which we love doing with them. I decided to get these colored marker pens instead of their gel or ballpoint pens because of how much he loves drawing, but reacting negatively when he makes a “mistake” causing meltdowns and needing a new paper every time or some type of “magic tape” his teacher uses to cover his “mistake.” To save paper/trees, these were an absolute must. They are amazing and I’m so glad I grabbed the 36 count which is currently on sale! The only caveat is that we received 6 of the same pink color (not sure if they are the light pink or the regular/dark but I think they are the light) instead of 3 of each pink. I doubt this will be too much of an issue for him as he rarely uses pinks in his drawings and what he doesn’t know won’t impact him. It’s just odd having 6 of the same color when we only have 3 of the rest. We still got 36 marker pens, just missing one of the colors with getting extras of the other.

These tough pens have bold colors that erase with a little bit of elbow, grease and patience. Colors do not smear easily, and while they do show through thin paper, they do not bleed through; if you erase it, you can no longer see it through the paper. There is a faint trace left behind when you erase, but it isn’t as obvious in person, and writing over it obscures it well. There is a difference between erasing on cheap copy paper versus smoother, thicker high-quality copy paper; mostly, it erases on either, but thin paper shows some stress from all the erasing pressure. These are not ideal for something where you may need to do a lot of erasing, such as writing an essay, but are great if you are writing a thank you card and use the wrong there/their. I help with a lot of grading and look forward to erasing my marks when I cross out too fast and then realize the kid wrote their 5 backwards and actually got it right, lol. I thought my erasable pen in the 90’s was cool, but this is even more impressive. My childhood is jealous of me.

Actual erasable markers! They work well and erase well too. Not sure how long they will last, but so far, I’ve been happy with them.

I purchased these to use in my classroom with my students. They do dry out quicker than I expected but they did work pretty well. A couple of them left marks when erasing but overall they were okay. Liked that they came with a variety of colors. The colors are lighter and sometimes hard to see.

Absolutely love these for note taking in text books. As a university student these markers come in handy. Just a word of caution, always allow the ink to dry completely before attempting to erase the marker, otherwise it smudges. The colours are vibrant but not over powering like highlighters. These are semi fine, about the width of a sharpie which is great for going over text but also writing notes in margins of text books

Great markers! It was nice to find these as I have only ever used erasable pens! Writes very nicely and great value!

I use this for a bullet journal. Great for lettering and stencils. The colors are a bit pastel so it's not really bright. The points are fragile. Some of them are a bit crushed with a careful use. (probably the use of stencils)

I use these in my sewing room to mark fabric. They works better than chalk. The ink vanishes with hot water, a dryer, or an iron.
