Works great for Oculus Quest 2
Now I can have faster Oculus Link speed on an old motherboard. Be sure to check the PCI spec or see the photos because they can vary and not fit other smaller PCI slots. Pros + The card gives around 2 gbit/sec on Oculus Link, using anker and party-link cables. The USB 3 on my old mobo - p67-gd55 - by itself was giving about 1 gbit/sec. I believe it can do even more if Quest or mobo allows it. I haven't tested the type c port but only the USB 3.1 standard port on the chip. + The card is easy to install - just plug it in - but do be mindful that if you have a big video card like mine it may block half of one of its fans. But this should not be a problem (in a well-ventilated case) because GPU fans are intake fans. + The price is better than some alternatives. + Screws are included as a well as a smaller plate + did not need to install drivers on Windows 10 Cons - The packing box is wrapped well on outside - but needs something like Styrofoam or bubble wrap on the inside. The product could get damaged if the box is shaken too hard and the extra plate can smash into the chip. So be sure to inspect the product carefully when it arrives.

Perhaps not 10Gbps but ...
Well, I can't see the 10Gbps but I'm not going to complain - it's pretty fast (SSD @ 385MB/sec, no problem hitting max transfer rates on WD Reds). Power: I have no available power to drive other USB PCIe cards, as many require such power - so this was a big selling point to me. The drives are externally powered and this little card does a great job, not having to support spinning the disks. *NIX does show this as a 10Gbit interface. It was, essentially plug and play. I had to do nothing to get this to work with Proxmox. Connected to a Mediasonic USB 3.1 cage. I haven't tried connecting to both USB ports on the card - that will probably come later. I expect my throughput to drop if each port is being used. Still, nice card - a lot cheaper than a quality 10Gig fiber card for iSCSI.

Great device but questionable speed
Very easy to install and no issues having it run on windows 10. Didn’t have to install/update any driver to make it work. I’m docking off a point because the 10Gb speed advertised doesn’t seem correct. It appears capped at 6-7Gb using USB-C.

This item's Case Compat. Will vary.
Pros: Looks nice, no sata power needed, supports usb 3.0 with 2 ports, comes with 2 case plates and yes, in black. plugs right in, no issues, comes with drivers for clean installs, win 7 support! Cons: the case plat does not have a extension slot design, so this will not fit all case types out there, I had to bend it a little to get it to mount at the screw point and stay snug when plugging/unpluging cables. if the metal case plate's screw design was a slider instead of a fixed place, this would be a the perfect 5*. Seems like such a missed feature.

DOES NOT WORK. THE DRIVER IS WAY OLD
The product itself looks class and shiny but DOES NOT work. Windows installs a driver for it but it is just enough to make the hard drive spin. THEN COMES THE DISASTER: The CD that comes with this device installs a driver which will show you a BSoD immediately and on any boot afterwards. Then you have to install Windows again. Good luck with that.

Great easy to instal USB card
Bought two of these after reading reviews. Card 1 : Powered off my Linux server, dropped the card in, and powered it back up. Card was recognized by Ubuntu 18.04 on the first attempt, and everything is working as expected. Card 2 : In my desktop Ubuntu 20.10 machine, detected immediately, and then I was able to pass it through to my Windows 10 VM without effort, and it's working fantastically. Both cards, dropped in, worked first try, no fiddling with drivers or anything, exactly what I wanted when I ordered this card.

Works in 2010 MacPro 5,1 at 5Gb/s max bandwidth
A good price for a card that works in Mac OS. I bought it a few months ago and it works well with USB 3.0 in combination with Jettison app for sleep. I only recently bought a 10 Gb/s device capable of 1000 MB/sec. It's a 1500 MB/sec NVMe inside a case to convert it to USB 3.2. Unfortunately I could not get the full 10-1200 MB/sec the standard supports. It may be a restriction of the Realtek chipset in the external case for the NVMe, however, that is the latest and supposedly best chipset for this task. in my tests I got 730 MB/sec, which is still a great result! Good Value
Works as intended fpr the most part. Sometimes if I plug in a USB A device, the USB C device stops working momentarily. Automatic Universal driver worked well on both Windows and Manjaro/Linux.
