some complained about whistling, so I ordered a 3/4" hose to replace the gas line, and a 3/4" key valve. I got the valve on line and the rest of the parts to convert it to 3/4" at Home Depot with no issues. I extended a 3/4" pipe to the back of the fire pit and hooked it up the 3/4" line. I was totally impressed after lighting it. Full open its like a bonfire, I suppose because of the 3/4" line. I reduced the valve and only had it open about 25% and it produced beautiful flickering flames. I was surprised how much heat it threw....this is going to be amazing in the fall and winter. With the 3/4" line there was no whistling or noise. It was truly wonderful and I'm very happy. I've since purchased their stainless cover which fit perfectly All the items seem to be very high quality. GLASS- It took 4 bags (40 pounds) of glass to fill it. I got an extra bag just to top it up. So get 4 or 5 bags.

Just built a custom fire table under my new Pavilion. The kit, with the glass surround, and control assembly, were made of quality materiel. My concerns for a well built product were unfounded. The stainless tray and associated hardware were nicely constructed. The hoses are constructed of quality materiel as well. I give this my highest recommendation!

The fire pan and burner are really good quality but the igniter wire fell off mine. I contacted the seller and they replaced the part quickly. Customer service was very good. Also, I felt like the panel that holds the valve and ignitor wasn't super easy to attach, although I was able to get it mounted securely. It isn't a flat panel like it looks in the picture. It is a 90 degree angle, so you have to put some thought into how to attach it. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Okay so this works, easy to install and hook up but the igniter is way too tall so catching a flame is so hard. If it will catch flame it will only start a line of flames on one tube. It’s rare it catches the flame…again the igniter is too tall to light it so I bought a Bic lighter (the long one) and I use that to start the fire. Gas flows threw each tube perfect though

Built my own fire "table" with this kit. Appears to be good quality materials and welds etc. Having the whole setup made building it easy, having the igniter and value in a single assembly means you know it works together!

Blue fire rocks NOT included. We purchased separate but overall it was a easy installation. Very self explanatory if you don't know how to hook up to your outdoor gas line please get a professional :)

If you buy used, like new, all components should be included. I received this and at least (3) components were not included: the Key to operate the valve, the stainless steel gas line between the control and the burner, and the flexible gas line to the control.

Great product ! Easy to install, saved me hundreds !! Great do it yourself product why pay thousands of dollars for a cheap fire table !

Why spend hundreds of $ more when you can construct your own backyard firetable! Friends and family just adore this insert ..l filled with brilliant blue and clear fireglass, it’s the jewel in my backyard under a high gazebo. Would highly recommend this insert!
