Far superior to the Anchor Hocking 4 cup measuring cup. It is a good size and shape -- not super wide and awkward like the other brand. Works perfectly. The spout is shallow but if poured slowly it works well -- no dripping. I first purchased the Anchor Hocking 4 cup measuring cup because it had slightly better reviews. It was a total disappointment. The Anchor Hocking had deformities on the handle sharp enough to cut the hand and there were also small indentations in the glass. Very pleased with this Pyrex measuring cup -- totally smooth and seamless.

I've never had a larger pyrex measuring cup before, and ordered this to make microwave peanut brittle, on the recommendation of a friend. Works perfectly for that, but I find I'm reaching for it quite often, because it's also the perfect little "mixing bowl" for a Jiffy mix or making a little bath of frosting. I've also used it to make Jello, and it's nice not to have to scrub the color out of my Tupperware mixing bowl.

Truly disappointed, as I wanted a 4-cup measuring cup, but this turned out to be a 1-quart measuring cup. It works for what I need, but I feel cheated. It stacks just fine with my 2-cup measuring cup. As always with Pyrex, it has a sturdy, solid feel to it. The markings on the cup are easy to read and see. I never checked to make sure it was accurate, I hope a measuring cup is, but I never thought to question it. Overall, would definitely recommend even though it's only a 1-quart measuring cup and not a 4-cup measuring cup.

I'm sorry to say this about this Pyrex product. But, I am unable to stop this 4 cup measuring cup from dribbling down its sides when I pour [my coffee] out of it. I've tried pouring from it when it's filled to the top and when it's only 1/3 filled. I have tried pouring slowly and pouring quickly. It always dribbles. I can't think of anything else I can change in my actions that would make this measuring cup behave un-wastefully. Update: Ok, call it "my fault." The reason it dribbled is because I was pouring too quickly, and the stream was overflowing the sides of the little spout. If you pour reeeally slowly so the stream stays centered within the confines of the little spout -- and slowly -- the stream won't dribble. Switching from 2 stars to 4 stars.
