Used it 3 times, and had a crystal clean pool after a year of going to pool store and buying chemicals that didn’t work. We have a lake behind our property which is where our sprinkler gets water to water the lawns. Our association in Florida sprays chemicals into the lake to stop vegetation; which in turn, spray off goes into our pool when we use the sprinklers. This product counteracts the spray off. Once we used the product 3 times, we have not needed to use it again the whole summer.

Works exactly as advertised. I had treated my pool with Phos free a week ago my levels were extremely high 4,000 to be exact my salt system wasn’t producing chlorine and I couldn’t get the liquid chlorine to hold more than 12-24 hours. The pool store sold me Phos Free but it only brought it down to 3200. And I still wasn’t holding chlorine. So this week I bought this hoping it would do a better job and it did not disappoint. After just under 72 hours of circulation it dropped my phosphate levels from 32000 to 800 and my salt system is working again and now have a chlorine reading for the first time in weeks. I highly recommend this product and yes it does make your pool very cloudy especially if your levels are very high but by 36 hours I noticed it clearing up significantly and in just over 48 hours it was clear again. I did run my pump for almost 72 hours. I’ll be re testing in a couple of days to see if it drops any lower if not I will treat it again with the recommended dose for a level of 800 as I still have some left after treating the level of 3200.

I was skeptical of Aqua Doc as most pool products are a rip-off. Not this one. Phosphates in pool were at 300 and called for about 32 oz. of No Phos at a price of .57 cents per ounce or around $18. Aqua Doc instructions called for 3 oz and I went ahead and poured in 4 oz at a cost of $4.36. Poured in pool at 5 PM Wed. right after Leslies pool test showed 300 Phosphate level. Ran pool pump on low all night at around 40 gals. per minute. Just for fun I went and checked water again at Leslies at 9 AM and explained I was just curious how this new phosphate remover was working. He said I really needed to run pump for 48 hours and check but he went ahead and tested anyway. You wouldn't believe the look on his face when he said Phosphates were 0. This stuff is not only cheaper (per PPB Phosphate removed) but works 8 times faster. It did cloud the water some but was clear later the next day. It also calls to pour directly into pool as others call to put in skimmer, Also raises filter pressure the same as all other products but I expected that. This product works and at a price around 5X cheaper than others as you will use around 8X less. You have to try this stuff.

I am very happy with the results of this product! I have a 12x24 foot in-ground vinyl liner pool, which is saltwater and equipped with a sand filter. My backyard has trees that are not mine; the only thing I can do is occasionally trim the branches that hang over my fence. I enjoy maintaining my pool by vacuuming, skimming, and brushing it regularly. To help keep the water clean, I also use skimmer basket socks and a solar skimmer. Although I have never experienced an algae bloom (I use algaecide weekly), I decided to purchase this product because my phosphate levels reached 910 ppm last swimming season. I applied the recommended amount for a 10,000-gallon pool around the perimeter and then vacuumed to waste two days later. The pool was slightly cloudy for an hour, and there was a small amount of dead debris at the bottom. After taking a water sample to my local pool company, I found that the phosphates had dropped to 20 ppm. While the product recommends balancing your chemicals first, I chose to use this product before balancing my chemicals in preparation for swim season. At this point, I am undecided whether to use this product weekly as a preventive measure or only as needed.
