Very good surge protector
Hooked to the first double breaker slot of my service panel. Kept the leads short with no 90-degree bends. A very good surge protector.

Simple, straightforward installation
Unless you've experienced a serious power surge or even a lightening strike, it's hard to say whether a surge protector works. I had planned to install a protector on our entrance panel, but waited until we installed the Generac. The company enjoys a good reputation, and the surge protection device is physically well-made. Good operating/using instructions included with the unit.

Installation as simple. Great enhancement to the generator system.
THis was recommended by Generac. Our installer had no issues installing and testing it. Great feeling knowing the system and home are protected.

Easy Install
This is quite a powerful device. Compare the specs to other spd's readily available on the market will show that this is by far the better choice at this price point. Had to rearrange a few existing breakers to accommodate it as close as possible to the main.
