If you need a Hard Wired Vent, this is NOT for you!!!! No where did I find in the description, pictures or the Instruction manual on the listing does it tell you this has an electrical cord and must be plugged in. I liked the look and design, had to send it back.

Works the way it should, fan really moves the air. I like the large filter it cleans easily.

Love the stainless steel construction and the push button controls for the three speed fan and the light. The first unit got was damaged and the replacement was here in about 3 days. The thing i do not like is the LED lights do not light the cooktop. When turned on they are more like a dim night light for the kitchen. There is 5 LED lights all together that should light the cooktop like the sun was shining on it. Very good instructions for mounting and the paper printouts can be put exactly where the unit is to be mounted and all holes marked in exactly the right place so mounting is EASY

Excellent! It was easy to install because it includes a manual. I used a degreaser to clean it and it looks brand new. It looks great. Thanks, Amazon! The price is worth it, it's easy to clean and it doesn't weigh much.

Junk. Don’t buy. First one I bought was sent to me used (even though I bought new). It was scratched up and one of the buttons was stuck in (the on position). So I returned it and reordered the same thing. Second one arrived and looked new. We installed it. It’s now been 2 weeks since install (but 40 days since purchase) and two of the buttons are also stuck on the on position. Now you know why it’s cheap. Wish I’d never installed it. Now I’ll have to spend considerably more to uninstall, buy a different brand, and install new one. Wish I could still return it.

I had contractors working on my kitchen. When it came time to install the vent they tested it and after mounting the unit they turned it on. The lights lit up but the motor wouldn't kick on and the lights wouldn't work. They tried everything, checked the connections but couldn't get it working. They called support and they started a warranty claim. After they told me I let them know I had purchased it from Amazon and it would probably be easier to just return it and get a replacement. That is what I decided to do and there were no issues doing it that way. The next vent came and my contractors were no longer working here so my husband and I needed to install it this time. We did the same thing, tested it when it arrived to make sure everything worked. We installed it and went to turn it on and the same thing happened, the motor would not work. For some reason, my husband thought That maybe it just needed to be reset. He had the idea to flip the breaker and guess what... Everything worked! So, I just wanted to leave this comment for those who may have the same issue! Other than that installation was pretty easy. The unit is nice, as far as the design. It looks clean and modern built into our hood. I do not like the color of the lights AT ALL. I probably would not have purchased had I known what they would look like on. They are very blue, not a very inviting look to me. They also only have an off on, no hight med or low, just one setting on. I like to have a dimmer option over the stove. It is pretty quiet when it's on though. It will do the job and I had my vent built to fit this unit so I'm kind of stuck with it.
