I kinda just really like the taste and texture. It’s awesome that it comes in a cool and durable ammo can that has an o ring to keep it air tight. The energy bars are pretty solid when in the vacuum packaging. But when you break it or take a bite it easily breaks apart. It’s dry and powdered into a bar but I really like the flavor. Sometimes I find it hard to resist eating. I keep it in my bag, my car, at my desk and store it for emergencies at home.

Other reviews regarding the "sturdiness" of the tin on point. I ordered three of these, and only one arrived with the lid still on. The other two were quite dinged up (one creating an issue with keeping the lid on) and having significant scuffs on the outside, so that I had to write the Best By date again (and the only reason I knew what it was supposed to be was from the other tin.) Otherwise, the food packaging seems intact and I appreciate that it has a 20 year shelf life. I haven't opened one to try it yet, so can't vouch for the taste or texture. If you plan to buy these, just be aware that the tin is probably going to come damaged and thus the food packaging has the potential to be damaged as well. Overall, for the price and shelf life, I think it's a good add to any go bag.

Great energy bars. Sweet mild taste that packs a nutritional punch when you are busy. I’m an R.N. at a very busy medical campus. And these really help out as meal replacements, on hectic days. The taste is a nice change from the standard protein bars.

Great for camping and emergency rations, I added these great bars to my emergency survival kit, they come in a strong metal box and wrapped to last for many years. What a great value

It's a trap! I ordered two containers thinking the metal tins would help keep everything organized. I received the contents of one container in a plastic bag and the tin container for the second one is all beat up and helded together with tape. With no returns I am stuck with them. Do not buy. Get something else

The shelf life claims to be twenty five years, which is really good. They do taste pretty good. Would recommend eating them with some water or a glass of milk, if you have it. My kids stole almost all of them and ate them. So apparently they do taste good and would be a good thing to have on hand for survival food for kids.And I can say that for a fact, because they love them. The nutrition value seems to be okay. I don't know how well it would fill you up, but it'll keep you alive.

After reading a lot of the reviews for this product, I was a little hesitant to purchase it fearing that the vacuum seals would be leaking. I also read that it didn't taste bad and a lot of folks were pleased. I went ahead and ordered it. It arrived faster than I expected (the same day). I opened the lid and looked at the individual packages and confirmed that there were no leakers. The tin was undamaged and the product looked to be in perfect condition. The expiration date was 2044, so I can rest assured I didn't get last years product. I haven't opened any of the packages yet to taste them, but we have a cub scout campout this weekend and will try one of the packages. There are 6 packages, each has 4 individually wrapped bars. The Calorie density looks to be great. I recommend this product for fast delivery, product integrity and undamaged shipping.

I seen a lot of reviews about the seal being broken or the box being damaged but everything was sealed properly and packed individually inside the package that is sealed it taste pretty good honestly but it’s great with a drink with it last a long time and surprisingly makes you feel pretty full great value for the money and I love how this product breaks like a cracker so you are able to share very transportable and like how easy it is to carry with you

All was as described, expiration date 2044. I didn't taste test yet but everything looks ok.
