Qarshi Johar Jashanda Herbal Tea - 2 Packs of 30 Sachets

A work colleague made me a cup of this 'herbal tea' when I was succumbing to the dreaded lurgi. As I didn't have the strength to throw it down the sink, the fate of many herbal cuppas, I actually drank it! WOW. It worked in raising my spirits, whilst rapidly easing my sore throat, runny nose and hacking cough... and it tasted nice as well. It's a cheering and delightful brew, consisting of a boiled concoction of sugar, liquorice extract, Hyssop, Black Tea, Starch, Peppermint, Fennel Oil and Eucalyptus Oil, that is then freeze dried into granules which dissolve instantly when put into a cup of hot water. Each 'dose' is sealed in a strong packet, handy for those still on the move. A full box should last through a major epidemic. But you don't have to wait until you get a cold/flu to enjoy a refreshing cup of Qarshi's Johar Jashanda, it's a great general tonic as well - especially after a long day at work, or even longer journey. Next time, save money by giving the chemist a miss, and keep this in your medicine cabinet instead.

Fantastic for sore throats & generally feeling unwell. We always use over the winter season by popping a sachet into a cup of tea or you can use in plain boiling water. Arrive quickly & great value.

tastes chalky. bought this after i tried my friends pack which helped with my throat and tatsed pleasant. not sure if my tatse buds are funny or the tase is a bit chalky

Decent quality (this isn't cheap otherwise or easy to find). if you like liquorice then you will enjoy this :)
