Automatic Duct Fan 4", Inline Fan with Differential Pressure Switch, Air Vent Booster Fan for Industrial HVAC Ducting Ventilation Exhaust Systems

I needed to supplement my dryer vent, as my vent ran pretty long to the outside of my house. I installed this in the middle and it works great! It is pretty quiet and has enough air flow to do the job. The pressure switch works well and adds to the convenience. Installation is easy! I'm very happy!

Easy to install. Automatic turn on/off via pressure sensing is great. This allows me to installed it in the attic. My pipe run up 10' wall then turn 45 degree for 5' then run to the roof for another 4' or so. I guess this was too long for the new LG dryer because if keeps throwing the d80 code. The fan was installed on a 45 degree without any problem with the flexible hose + clamps. No mode d80 code from the LG dryer and the clothes dry so much faster.

Works great as a dryer vent booster. I relocated the dryer vent as the rear deck is now blocking it, vent hose now travels quite a bit of distance and a few sharp turns. My cloths are not getting dryed as before. Installed this inline fan. It turns on automatically when my dryer turns on. Then it turns off after a minute. I'm a bit concerned about it getting too hot. Been drying it in medium heat setting. Cloths are still getting very dry. Works perfectly.

The fan works really well. It's not subtle, as the housing is larger than the 4" duct, but performance is excellent. I have a long flex duct run to vent my basement dryer. Clothes were taking 2 or 4 cycles on high to fully dry. Added this fan, and we're back to one medium cycle. The best feature is the auto differential pressure switch. I leave the fan powered on in Auto, set to high. It senses the dryer syart and turns on automatically. Stops when the dryer does as well. Paperwork shows a 2 year warranty. If it lasts that long, it'll save me 3x the purchase price in electricity anyway.

Install was easy and the product works well. The one issue I have is the pressure sensor. It worked initially but with changes in weather (unit is in my crawl space) it turns on constantly. I ended up having to put it on a smart plug and manually turn it on/off when I’m running the dryer.

I needed an inline duct fan to handle the hot exhaust from my dieselpusher RV propane furnace. I house the RV in a metal pole barn, but still live in it full time during the cold Midwest winter. The furnace exhayst temparature gets up to about 180F. Although the AC Infinity fan is rated for a maximum 140F, it runs great at the lowest set speed even with the higher furnace exhaust temperature. I bought the fan with the differential pressure sensor. It senses air flow from the furance and automatically turns on and also turns off 5 minutes after furnace airflow stops. This fan is solidly built with quality components. I highly recommend this exhaust fan! Always spend a little more for quality.

Works great, my issue is that the tube connection makes it to big to fit in the floor joist by .5 inches

Installed the booster fan to improve the airflow to a second floor bedroom which was the furthest from the HVAC unit. The bedroom is now about 5 degrees cooler (haven't tested heating). This fan moves a lot of air. On fan setting two, it does the job and is very quiet, especially in the bedroom. The fan was installed within one foot of the main duct and is set to "auto". The fan is triggered by a positive change in pressure and runs for five minutes and then rechecks the pressure and runs for additional five minute intervals. I am really pleased with this booster fan and highly recommend it.

Triggers reliably, relatively quiet. I'm using this as a make up air unit for my laundry room. I put the pitot tube on my dryer, while the fan is just behind a damper on an intake duct. Because of the intended use as a booster, this is programmed to shut off for a bit every five minutes to see if there is still flow with the motor off. For my use I wish there was a mode that doesn't need to shut off to sense, as the fan is on a different duct. This is still a very affordable universal make up air unit.

It works! Used to boost airflow to far end of house from a concealed duct heat pump. The automatic pressure detect works perfectly. I can even set my heat pump to 1% fan speed and the unit still detects the pressure difference and turns on! Glad i found it. Seems like a better option than the floor register boosters.

Noise/results My house is a 1955 slab build, with an add on kitchen/basement in the mid 70's. The downflow hvac system didnt have enough gusto to push heat to the add on registers, or there were restrictions/collapse in the old perimeter in slab ducting. I put this on the only exposed ducting i could access in the addon, about 50' direct line, but would probably be 75 or so of ducting run. The unit itself is quiet, fairly easy to install and the pressure swtich works great. I have it on setting 3 and it works well puahing more heat to the area but also drawing more heat through the whole ducting system, making all the registers work better. It has prevented our furnace/Thermostat (ecobee) from over heating and shutting off which has been an annoying regular winter occurrence. It is actually a pretty loud system, as the fan winding travels through the ducting and out the register. I have this on a 20' run with two registers, and the noise it produces is substantial. My wife coverwd up a register this morning just so she could watch a show. I'm going to try and insulate the ducting to hopefully absorb some sound vibrations. This solved and problem, and presented another. So we'll see what happens.

I bought to increase air flow to the upstairs but find that the pressure in the duct isnt enough to start unit automatically so it just runs all the time.
