Royal Albert Polka Rose Vintage 3-Piece Place Setting

I had to write this review about the exceptional quality and style of this product after reading another buyers comment: "I don't know for sure where most of these are made nowadays because there is no manufacture country origin stamp on the bottoms where the other crucial information is given. Mostly, I use these for display. Though, I hold out hope that someday, perhaps soon, Royal Albert fine English china beauties will be made in England once more (or in another `food safe for sure' country - like here in the USA). Then I will feel free to actually use them with a certainty of their food safety." China was invented in China which is why it is called China (yes, I know an Englishman improved it and created bone china). It is unfair that we Americans let the media's focus and attention on bad quality Chinese products cloud our judgement on the overall quality and value of goods we enjoy. Our country and European countries, such as England, greatly profit off of China selling goods manufactured there. American and European consumers take advantage of the significant cost savings everyday that we would not otherwise have if it were not for China. This greatly improves our quality of life and the finer things we have in life overall (such as this beautiful bone china). This bone china is exceptional quality and it is unfounded to say that using it could or would compromise food safety. This product probably is manufactured in China as almost everything is now to be competitive in the marketplace. If this is the case thank you England AND China for making such an fine product.

Ho acquisto questo articolo perchè si era frantumata una tazzina già in mio possesso. L'articolo è conforme alla foto presente sul sito. La spedizione, avvenuta dalla USA, è stata puntuale (consegna entro il termine previsto); l'articolo, composto da tre pezzi, è arrivato inserito in una confezione regalo molto carina. Qualcuno, forse in dogana, aveva tolto il piattino sotto tazza e non l'aveva inserito nella scatola, lasciandolo nell'imballaggio esterno; nonostante ciò è arrivato integro. Il set vintage è molto fine: il colore verde menta è particolarmente ricercato.

This is a beautiful bone china tea set. I love the mint green with the polka dots. It is lovely fine bone china set.

Beautiful trio set!! Be sure you check VERY carefully for damage right away - ESPECIALLY if it is a gift! Run your hand over all surfaces/edges because even a tiny flaw will make the piece prone to cracking. This set came in the signature Royal Albert pink round box, which SHOULD be sturdy... but when the box was mashed by Amazon before shipping (I ordered an item sold by Retail King but SHIPPED by Amazon) even their bespoke box wasn’t enough to keep the salad plate from getting chipped on the rim and a tiny crack starting. However, Amazon IS good about standing behind the products they ship, so a replacement was sent immediately. Happy to report that the replacement set was in perfect shape and received in less than 48 hours! Awesome service :)
