These work perfectly with the Kinetik BG-710 monitor. Readings are consistent and match up well with what I get at the GP surgery so I'm confident in the accuracy. The pack of 100 is great value compared to buying smaller packs and they've got a decent shelf life on them too. Each strip slots into the monitor easily and gives a reading within seconds. If you've got a Kinetik monitor already these are a no brainer for keeping your supplies stocked up. Much cheaper buying them on Amazon than from the pharmacy as well.

Hi Kinetic, I ordered a pack of 50 test strips for my Kinetic Test Unit, the test strips that came with the new unit were all blue test strips. The test strips that came with my recent order from Amazon were all black test strips, they will not operate with my Kinetic Test Unit. I have now returned the capsule of 50 Black Test Strips to Amazon. How do i ensure, when I re-order another capsule of 50 Test Strips, that I receive only the Blue Test Strips..? I had the older version of this blood sugar monitor Argos who sold it to me stopped supplying the test strips! I eventually bought the newer model, the first one did not work! I returned it and got another one. This one works well it only came with a few strips I tried to get some more strips from Argos but they stopped supplying them? I got these on line and they work, bit of a pain Argos selling things that we buy expecting them to support their items then finding they just drop them and us customers in it. Good old Amazon stepped up and I can use my tester still!

My wife is a Type 2 diabetic, and uses this Kinetic Wellbeing monitor daily to check her glucose levels. The instructions provided were concise and clear, and setup was simple (we had never used one before). The readout is very clear. It has been interesting to see how readings fluctuate throughout the day, and what affects the glucose levels the most. The three included control solutions gives confidence that the monitor is functioning within limits, which is a great feature.

I only test occasionally and prefer to use AST, generally testing on my forearm. The lancing device provided with the kit is not suitable for AST. It has a solid end and not the transparent one needed for testing other than on fingers. It does not produce sufficient blood for the meter to work. I bought an alternative lancing device, which has worked well with other meters. However, even at its deepest setting, with a well-rubbed arm, the amount of blood the meter requires is so great that only about one time in five does the meter work. This amount of blood leaves bruising where the lancet has been used. In addition, the meter was supplied with flat batteries. I missed the return date by two days. The whole kit, being of no use to me, will have to be disposed of. Not recommended.

i purchased this device because it has Bluetooth. This transfers the blood sugar readings to the Apple Health app on the ipad. But be aware that this function only works when you take out an expensive subscription, which is not explained. This is cheating IMO. Therefore I only gave it 2 starts

This all in one blood glucose testing kit is a great bit of kit that provides accurate results. Inside the box you get a a carry case, the main testing unit, batteries, test strips & safety lancets along with calibration fluid. The device requires some basic setup when you first power on such as setting the time and date, you also have the option to set reminder alarms. I did find the instructions a little confusing and i personally thought that they could have been clearer - it took me a couple of attempts and resets of the device to work out how to set the parameters. However once this was completed the testing was super easy. You get a safety lancet which you load with the needles, the depth of the needle can be set by adjusting a dial on the holder. I choose number 5 as this was in the middle of normal thickness skin. This worked well for me and produced the required amount of blood for the test strip. Testing literally took seconds and my result was displayed on the screen - nice and big numbers and super easy to read. You can also connect the device to your computer to download all the readings and monitor over time. Well made device, a little confusing to set up, but works very well and provides good accurate results. Recommended.
