Great product. I used it for my SharkBite Pex tubing and on my copper pipe. It deburred both the copper and the pex nicely. I had no leaks when the SharkBite installation was completed.

This is a must for sharkbite projects. The depth gauge alone is worth it. It will bevel cut and remove burrs from plastic pipe, not so much from copper.

New tool shows depth insertion for both original SBs and the new SB max fittings. Still deburrs the pipe rim. Following the instructions for installing a SB is crucial for it to work without leaking. This tool makes it easier. I also suggest a light filing of the inside pipe rim ( copper) and light cleaning of the outside with a Scotch Brite pad. Used SBs for over 15 years with no failures.

This product doesn't fir south African size pipes 15mm 20mm or 25mm so don't buy it cause it needs the pipe to fit snuggly into it in order to debur it
