I have been searching for years and years for something like this. You might think it expensive, I do. But then it works and I am thrilled. I ve used it for 3 nights and already see a reduction in the Demodex in my eyelids. The guy who invented this gel is very special. I hope that he makes shampoo next.

A friend recommended the Zocufoam eyelid cleanser and I liked it so much, I thought I would give the Zocular eyelid gel a try. I have always wished for a product I could put on my eyelids and lash line and not have to wash off. I have added this gel to my daily skin care routine and use it twice daily. I find it to be soothing, cooling and I love that it kills off demodex mites because I struggle with Rosacea outbreaks. Since using this eye gel. My eyes are less dry, less watery, less itchy. It dries completely and does not feel sticky. I will be using this regularly going forward.

I got swarmed with demodex mites during a period when I was using a sleep mask nightly. They're hard to get rid of given that they're common to older people's skin ecosystem. No problem when out of balance. But damaging to the eye when they get out of control. The most commonly prescribed "solution" is tea tree oil, about as enjoyable to use around the eyes as it sounds ... and potentially damaging to tissue itself. This okra-based solution is new to me but it seems to be okay. Like tea tree oil it's not obliterating the mites completely but they're greatly reduced in number ... and the ZocuShield gel is soothing. I've been using it only a month, but it's looking like a winner.

Been using this for a few months once at night and I no longer wake up with eye pain from dry eye and loose cornea tissue. My dry eye doc told me to use just spread a dot of gel across my eyelashes and scrub with a few blinks in between. Shouldn’t be washed off. Was hesitant to buy with the price but each bottle lasts several months because just tiny gel drop is needed so it’s actually cheaper than buying artificial tears. Best of all, I only need to use it once a day rather than 5-8 times. Now I just get it from my eye doc who’s stocking it now.
