FlexiFreeze Professional Series Ice Vest

I have POTS and this has helped me so much! I want to get another one for when the other melts.

Makes work in hot under-roof areas safer and more comfortable. Surprised that having cool packs directly against my t-shirt wasn't objectionable. Does lose its cool after 2 hours or less, so good to have a spare set of cool packs in freezer to swap out as necessary. Swapping quick and simple. Adjustable for all sizes. Sits close to body and doesn't snag against obstacles too badly. Couple of pockets work for small tools. Fabric and zippers seem durable.

Brought this for horseback riding in the FL. Heat, have used it a couple of times so far has worked well. Takes a couple of tries to get it to fit right. Overall pleased with it.

This vest will keep you cool for 15-40 minutes in the Texas summer sun. It’s good if you feel yourself overheating. Slap it on and sit under a tree to cool down a bit. My husband wore it over his shirt, so you may want to try wearing it underneath. Ice cubes never turned solid (kept on cooler with ice) so that may be another thing to play with. The material is well made. It took a while to find out where the straps were to adjust ( try the pockets ) It is too much of a hassle to use every summer day, but on the days it’s forecasted for 100 + degrees, it’s nice to have a little relief.

I am a school bus driver with no air conditioner in Alabama. This was a true life saver for the Alabama heat in August. Fit was good since you can adjust it. Value for money was great. My only complaint is that the Velcro seems to not hold as much over the 3 months I used it. I wore it morning and afternoon for an hour each trip.

This is the best ice vest I have tried, with a few notes: 1) I hate the heat and overheat very easily, although I sweat from the neck and above rather than below. I wore the vest (black) on a 90-degree day to take a 1-mile walk to a doctor appointment. I was in the shade half the time. I was kept cool and was very happy, but when I arrived at my appointment and took off the vest, my torso was covered in sweat with a capital "C." Removing my clothes and toweling off only helped somewhat; I was still sweat-covered for my exam. Then, 40 minutes after arriving at the appointment, I tried to put the vest on for the walk home, and found that all the ice was melted. LESSON LEARNED: Don't plan to be too far from the extra set of frozen ice if you want to be outside for longer, and don't head for anyplace where you want to look nice. BUT...I will buy the beige version to see if it deflects heat and keeps cooler longer. Perhaps black was not the best idea.

This certainly looks and feels like a quality product, but I wear xl in men’s shirts/jackets and this is way too small. If you have anything but six-pack abs, it isn’t going to close with the ice packs inserted. It would help if the manufacturer would make the sides adjustable like the shoulders. It’s too bad, as it looks like a quality item. Update. Before I returned it, my partner tried it in. He is a solid men’s large. Much too small for him. Changed review to one star.

Lifesaver in the Heat! Bought this cooling vest for high temp days on the job site, and it seriously makes a difference. It keeps my core temperature down, even in the blazing sun. Lightweight, easy to wear over a work shirt, and doesn’t restrict movement. Coworkers ask about it all the time.
