Good value, Good workout
Packaging was very good, and installation took about an hour. The quality seems good and it is solid and stable. I am getting a good workout and it seems to be durable. Time will reveal the true quality. I downloaded the app to track my workout and can get a good workout even on rainy and cold days. It stands up easily and stores away to minimize room clutter . For the almost bottom of the line price, the quality and functionality seem pretty good. My only complaint is that one of the bolts for the pedal was partially stripped but enough of the thread was good enough to hold it together with some heavy use. Hope it holds.

"A smart investment for healthy aging"
As a 69 years old woman who walks daily and lifts weights, I wanted something low-impact but effective. This rower has been a wonderful addition to my routine. It's quiet, smooth and easy on my joints. Assembly was straightforward, and can be stored upright. It works well for 20-30 minutes sessions and I pair it with my fitness tracker for better data. This rower may not be ideal for elite athletes, but for home fitness, it's excellent value.

It works well but might be a bit short
UPDATE - Customer service is fantastic. First off I am biased. I use gym rowers. I wanted an affordable rower for my home gym and really did not want to spend over 500 bucks. That is even on the high side. I read reviews of this rower and watched a few youtube videos and everyone was giving this pretty high praise. With the sale price I decided to jump on it. Positives: - Super easy to put together. Took about 30 minutes. Instructions were great. - Super quiet. The belt drive is extremely quiet so this can be used anywhere. - Easy to store. Not heavy at all. Wheels make it great to move around. - Connecting to the App was easy. - Overall build quality seems great. Negatives: - I am 5ft 9inches and this rower seems too small for me. On the catch I stay very upright, not able to lean forward and hinge. The drive and finish are fine but it is the catch and recovery that the foot rest seem too far forward on the machine. I am thinking of modifying the foot rest with a yoga block or so to put me back a little. Other than that this seems like a decent buy for 200.

Well-made and feels right
I tentatively purchased Style 01 of the Yosuda Rowing Machine. It was a nice price and there was a generous coupon, so financially it was a very good deal. But I was concerned that the quality might be lacking, and some of the other reviewers said it was too short; they'd had to return it for the larger model. Well, I'm happy to report that the machine is solid and well-made and at my current build (5'10" (178cm) and 300lbs), it's a good fit and feels comfortable to use. My 5' girlfriend tried it too and found it easy to use and fun. Once everything was out of the box, putting the machine together was straightforward. Have a space to lay everything out and you'll be fine. There are a lot of bolts and washers and various pieces, but everything is numbered and labeled and the only required tools are included in the box. The instructions are fairly clear. The illustrations could be a little more detailed (it wasn't always clear how the pieces fit together or where exactly to attach the bolts) but this is a minor quibble. With a little patience and focus, it all makes sense. I'm in my upper 60s, overweight, and have arthritic knees, which is why I was looking for a low-impact workout. With that in mind, this machine sits low to the floor, making it a little difficult to get on and off. I may need to find a sturdy way to raise it up, or put it next to a grab bar. Again, this is user-specific and it may not be an issue for people in better shape than I am. Once on the rower, however, I felt comfortable and secure. The action is smooth and natural -- pretty much exactly what I was hoping for given my previous experience on an expensive rower in a gym many years ago. After a very short initial workout, I could feel the effects in my thighs, arms and abs. In short, I couldn't be much happier with this purchase.

just like old times
I was on my high school's crew team, loved kayaking cack in the days when I could without getting Medicare or Blue Cross in a tizzy. I wanted something affordable but efficient for my exercise regimen. This erg fits the bill on all levels; fairly simple assembly, low-profile, adjustable resistance, mostly comfortable seat (Padded would have been nicer), and a tracking app that can send your workout stats straight to Samsung Health. I chose...wisely...

Good machine, app is okay
Easy to put together, easy to use and it gives a good workout. The most annoying part though (and I wouldn’t have bought it if I had realized) is it’s a little frustrating it doesn’t give a split time, pace by 500m in meters or a few other key things you normally see on a rowing machine. The pace numbers is in feet/500m and sometimes I'm pretty sure it is just throwing out random numbers for fun. The pace gauge is also extremely wonky. If you take a break, the timer does stop but it takes a while for it to get it back together. It gives you some crazy numbers. You can do the math to do the split time so not the end of the world. The app is free which is nice but these couple of things make it kind of frustrating and hard to track your work out in progress. If you don’t know what any of that means and just want a good piece of exercise equipment. Something that seems durable, easy to put together and not so expensive that you don’t have to worry about your kids around it then I give it 5 stars.
