Great quality easy to use. can you even use it on prefab fence pieces by adding a down piece on the corners.

So far so good. The parts are made pretty good. Being massed produced, expected things to not be perfectly square. The hinge brackets were not square, but it’s metal, you can tweak them a bit to achieve “close” to square. Make sure you build these on a flat even ground, makes a huge difference. The corner brackets seem kinda small, but it just needs to maintain the 90°. Used longer screws for the hinge side. We’ll see how the gate fares, after the rainy season. Functions just fine, at the moment. It comes with a latch, striker, cable, and spring.

As you can see in the photo the gate I built was simple yet effective. I used two 2x4, 4ft light duty fence cut to fit, 1.25 fence staples, the gate kit, 1 5/8 exterior wood screws, and 2 extra brackets you can see on the top and bottom of the left hand side to make it more ridge. I gave it 4 because I had to add the extra brackets for stability but in reality it works great and is easy to assemble. I'm guessing if you're using wood fencing for the face you wouldn't need the brackets because the wood fence would make it ridge enough.

Great buy very sturdy , I ended up making a huge gate with this kit and its strong enough to hold it together even in high winds good value. Very easy to assembly.

After shopping for pre-made cedar gates for years I couldn't find anything suitable for a reasonable price that wouldn't require me to hire a contractor. I decide to try to build my own. This dual gates kit was easy to use and saved me a bundle. I was able to build 2 gates with matching cedar for under a $100. Easy to use kit created sag free gates.

Excellent product. Very strong. Perfect hinges. Great product that helps you build a perfect gate. It just works. My pictures show the kit before I added the finish boards so you can see how it installs. If your wood for the frame is squared up you will build a perfectly squared gate. To add strength to the assembly I added an 8" Simpson Strong Tie. I did this because the wood I used is incredibly dense and heavy and I was using 2x5's instead of 2x4's. Look how straight and strong the gate is. The video also shows the effect of the gate closing spring kit. Just perfect for me.
