I bought my first set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers in early 2020 for a 2013 GMC Black Widow edition Sierra SLE with a 6” lift. These tires replaced a set of MT mudders (LOUD!) that I only got about 35k out of. My mileage was at 109xxx at the time. Absolutely loved the look and the ride! I chose the A/T version of the Grappler series because this is a daily driver and I am mostly on back country road’s and Highways with city driving mixed in on occasion. I am a lead footed driver (80-85 on the Highway) and these performed great there too! I had 2 tire road hazard claims that were honored 4 months later, from the original installation shop, in which one tire was not fixable so I got one free and purchased one (had 2 repaired nail punctures previously on one of the other ones, and I wanted these two tires to match). Mileage was at 130xxx at that point. I am currently at 184xxx miles and just purchased a new set of the exact same tire (35x12.5x20LT). The originally purchased set of tires lasted 75,000 miles!!! The other two still have a few available miles on them but I am replacing all 4 at this point!! I am NOT a stickler for rotation at all! In fact, I think I maybe rotated them all of 4, maybe 5 times in their life? These are rated at 80psi, but I ran them mostly between 55-65psi for the majority of the time (softer ride in my opinion). I have not towed anything with this vehicle so I can’t speak to that aspect. I’m not one for serious mudding, but since I live in North Carolina, I do as many beach trips as possible during the summer. I drop the pressure to around 20psi while on the beach. They run perfect in the deep sand (with the 4 wheel drive engaged, of course). Never had a single issue with the beach runs or any of the minor off-roading ventures I took them on!! Road noise was less than the MTs I replaced, but I don’t mind the sound of an aggressive tire at all. I don’t even notice it with these to be honest. The ONLY draw back I can even speak of is that once I had about 50k on them they got a little slick on the pavement when the roads were wet. 5 out of 5 - WILL purchase these again! (In fact, I just did!!)

Excellent traction!! Especially in the rain. Extremely quiet considering the tread pattern. And a smoother ride all around.

As far as the tires go, Nitto Ridge Grapplers are a premium brand and tire. Longevity and manners are as good as your going to get in this type of aggressive tire. I just purchased my 3rd pair of ridge grapplers here. They are kind of a jack of all trades and master of none when it comes to traction. They are not as good as a premium all terrain on slick roads, but they definitely perform well. They are not as good as a mud terrain in the mud, but they can definitely perform on muddy roads. In loose dirt/sand they perform better than a AT or MT. They are better on slick roads than a mud terrain. They are probably better on mud than most all terrains. Gravel roads don't chew on them as bad as most MT's or AT's. They last longer than any mud terrain I've had. So overall a great tire. So with all that being said, and the fact they are a premium brand. I was skeptical about what these tires would be for this good of a price. But I just got them today and looked up the dot code to find out where and when they were made. So they were made in the USA (Georgia), 6 months ago. So they are legit!

Great tires. The ride quality and noise level beats every off-road competitor tire out there. Have about 50k miles on mine and they’re still going strong. I purchased a 5th one recently to serve as a spare. The price was great and the shipping speed was insanely fast.
