Looks great but....
I noticed a high pitched noise coming from somewhere in my front room and got quite annoying on Sunday when it was quiet. Started looking around and turned out it is coming from this clock. I hope I can do something about it as I love the clock as a wall piece, but the high pitch noise has to go

Love it
Really nice piece, love the copper. Made well and a subtle noise for the moving gears but nothing significant, hardly noticeable. The clock is quite heavy. Takes three AA batteries opposed to one in the description.

Clock received but not working.
Lovely looking clock arrived but does not work at all. Proper batteries inserted, not apparently damaged, just does not go! Item arranged for return. Not bad experience for £220.

Stunning clock
Brought the larger clock 70cm and it is stunning, great quality and quite heavy, would suggest using a larger screw to hang as the one supplied would not hold the weight, we purchased the gunmetal finish and it’s a beaut

Beautiful statement piece.
This is a beautiful clock and a real statement piece. It always gets commented on in my home. It is very well put together from high quality materials and very reasonably priced. There are a few things to mention though, which will hopefully help other buyers… The fixing supplied; single 24mm wall plug and screw for the hook on bracket are woefully inadequate and of poor quality (same with any supplied fixing really) to support the weight of the clock, which is nearly 4kg. I only ever use my own quality grade fixings anyway but even if you are fixing into a joist or lintel and get a good fix I would still recommend using a proper slotted hanging bracket like myself, especially if you are hanging on drywall, brick, etc. In my case, as others have mentioned the hanging hook was offset about 5 degrees so the clock would not hang straight. There was one comment on here where somebody removed it and welded it back on. Utterly unnecessary as if you follow the maintenance instructions, the clock face can be unclipped from the frame (high tension clips) and simply repositioned to centre. Again, as other have stated the clock after a period of time can develop a slight whirring sound, which doesn’t bother me because of its location but I can get it may be irritating for some especially with low background noise in the room. The instructions do state that the clock requires maintenance and the main cog which turns the other dials should be greased from time to time (if noise occurs). They are continuously moving parts and like any moving parts, it will need maintenance from time to time. You do get spare hour and minute hands, which is a nice touch, although I don’t envisage ever needing them. Hope this helps others!
