Elixir Strings 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings w POLYWEB Coating, Extra Light (.010-.047)

8 string baritone guitar strings are not easy to find. I was very pleased then when back in October 24, I found Elixer made a set. I had just bought a used Guild 8 string acoustic on ebay and the strings were, shall we say, past their best. Once fitted the sound was fantastic, way better than I had hoped and when plugged into an amp, amazing. nine months later, the strings are just showing signs of wear so, I just bought some more. Fab product.

Haven’t used any other acoustic strings for years. They hold the sound and tuning. I usually don’t change these strings for ages. Little bit of fast fret if they get grubby and they go right back to new sound. These are without a doubt the best strings for acoustic guitar.

I can't fault these strings. I know they might seem expensive but they are incredible! I used to use Martin strings but I've used these for a few years now and I find them to be perfect. They have a wonderful tone and it stays wonderful for many months! I still haven't used the strings from this order. Every time I decide to do it, I have play on the guitar and decide not to bother! They stay in tune much better than any strings I have previously used. They stop squeaking when you slide your fingers along the strings after just a few sessions of playing - much better than uncoated strings. Highly recommended.

Guitar strings are a bit of a personal choice, so take what I say with a pinch of salt. I like these strings. The sound is clear and bright. Might be a bit bright for some people. They feel nice, and hold their tune very well. They can produce a bit of string noise as you move your fingers. I would say they’re pretty durable, never broken one even with quite regular and aggressive strumming. Definitely worth a go.

better the buy the 3 pack as it is cheaper per pack strings are very good, kinda soft, intonation of the guitar is the best with a brand new set of string unfortunately playing like 4 hours a day and in 2 weeks the string is getting harder, loosing its soft touch, loosing the harmonics it can create, getting discolored and frayed where you are picking it, so it can last 3 weeks and its not nice anymore, but what i found that at that point you can start you experiment with the NS tri action capo at the 4th fret and it sounds still nice on the higher registers, most players are using the strings in the first 5 frets, and after 3 weeks the strings are tired there but still lively up from there, replacing the strings every 2 weeks is pricey, that like 24 sets a year, like 340eur per year, so im trying to use the strings for 2 months

Once again Amazon hasn't let me down. Said Sunday delivery, but got it a day earlier, (Saturday) and only ordered yesterday afternoon. Brilliant. And as for the Elixir strings..... Still the best. Still my favourites. And Amazon do a fantastic deal, £30 for 3 sets of Phosphor Bronze 12s. All 10 of my guitars have them on. My main performance guitar, which I practice on every day, and perform with 2 or 3 nights every week, the strings still manage to last about 6 months before they lose their good sound. O, and I've never had even one broken string... Yet. Thanks 🤓 ps...recently received a fake set of Elixir???? Strings. Told Amazon, and they sorted it😁 so watch out. Otherwise, I'm still in love with Elixir, and Amazon. Very fair people. 😍

Great strings they keep their tone well and sound wonderful. Yes they are not the cheapest but they are great value for money.

Sanırım şu ana kadar kullandığım akustik gitar tellerinin en iyisi bu. Özellikle bas gitar tellerinde farkı çok hissediyorsunuz. Rezonansı, ekosu çok iyi. Tellerin bir diğer özelliği elinizi diğer muadil markalara göre acıtmaması, sanırım bu polyweb teknolojisi. Elektro ve klasik gitarım da var. Gitar çalanlar bilirler, akustik gitar en fazla parmakları yoran ve ağrıtan gitar çeşitidir. Ama bu polyweb teknolojisi yüzünden sanırım parmaklarınız resmen klavye üzerinde kayacak. Daha açık tonlar yerine daha sıcak ama tellerin ekosunda hiçbir azalma mevcut olmayan bir gitar teli yapmışlar. Çok beğendim.

Certainement de bonnes cordes pour ceux qui aiment des sons "brillants"... Mais ça ne correspond pas au son que j'aime sur ma Gibson... Trop métallique et un touché que je n'aime pas vraiment... Je préfère de loin des Phosphore bronze... C'est pour cela que je les ai remplacées 48h après les avoir montées !
