Yes! This scanner was everything it was advertised to be, it was easy to use a d did not require downloading any apps to work. A app is available but necessary. This allowed me to clear a code so I was able to drive my vehicle to my mechanic (several miles around 250) and not have to be towed costing hundreds if not thousands.I truly love and appreciate this product is from a USA based company, this for me meant just as much as having a product that worked.

I used to own an automotive repair shop. I've bought the expensive scanners. I have them In Kansas City. The other day up in N. Idaho, I was driving my motorhome and the check engine light came on. I could have gone to the local parts store and scanned it but I thought why not try a hand held scanner. I read about them and this one seemed to offer more than I would ever need and it was still inexpensive.I received it yesterday at my location and I have to say I'm impressed. It does not require reading a phone book to get going with it. In fact, within 15 minutes of opening the box, I knew what had triggered my check engine light, and how to fix it (part of the package you get with this tool). PO1131 B1S1 which is the upstream bank one O2 sensor, constantly reading lean and not switching.Impressive little tool. I never replace a part without first checking the basics (for a vacuum leak) and having the exact same code set 3 times before I'll consider condemning a part. The reason I chose this scanner (the 440) over the less expensive ones is the live stream data.I can watch my O2's data stream live and measure the readings while checking for any vacuum leaks - LIVE. By introducing propane or carb cleaner around any intake ports on bank one, if I see a spike in readings, I'll know it's not the sensor and I have a vacuum leak to fix. I can't do that at the parts store.

This code reader came in very nice packaging and was very easy to use. It linked to the app with no problems at all and I navigated around the code reader and app with no issues. Very good

Are we have had for over a year the BlueDriver Bluetooth Pro OBDII Scan Tool for iPhone & Android, this scanner does not work Most of the time. It just doesn’t tell us what’s wrong with the vehicle and we’ve tried it many many times.So far this scanner has been working BLCKTEC 440 Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner Diagnostic Tool. You can use the app or the scanning tool. The app is a great assistance, and it helps you identify the part and finding it on the web. We’ve used it on the 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 and it diagnose the problem and was correct with what was wrong and why the check engine light was on.I don’t know about any other vehicles at the moment will update this review if anything changes but so far this one is doing the job for us again, thank you. We left this review in hopes that it will help others looking to diagnose their truck.Chevy and GM manufacture scanner, which is quite old technology. We thought we’d add this just for reference for others that may want to know the Genuine GM Tech 2 Scanner . The Genuine GM Tech 2 Scanner this is the scanner that the dealerships use it’s old and has been replaced by newer technology now but this was one that was used on the 2003 minus and plus years.Update it also worked for a 2011 Ford F150 3.5 L eco-boost
