Works well

Excellent optical cable. Well made with a nice feel when connecting to amplifier/CD etc. Quite flexible so easy to install around corners. Bought for a friends' Marantz system and works well with it. Not five star rating simply because of the price. Audioquest is good quality stuff, no doubt about it, but I believe other brands to be better value. Having said that you won't go wrong buying Audioquest.

product appears to have been ‘updated’ and in AudioQuests ‘wisdom’ they have decided that the design is no longer as important so if buying you won’t be able to ‘match’ your cables you will have 1 ‘black’ toslink cable (left of picture) and 1 striped (looking) hdmi’s (right of picture) !?? asked if this new design philosophy applied to the other cables in the range (forrest, cinnamon etc) and received no response (again from AudioQuest) !?? I wrote to them and they merely informed me that yes the design is fainter (much so) than older iterations of the cable!... seller service, comms post and pack was flawless I am just glad I wrote AudioQuest directly regarding my concern, I expressed as so much so that I initially thought I had received a ‘counterfeit’ product, so much so that I wrote AudioQuest directly rather than bothering the seller regarding matters that they had absolutely no control over. design was DEFINITELY and part of my purchasing decision process hence the reason for taking the time to review seller A+++ AudioQuest (‘apparent’ design) philosophy not so pleased with cable itself, though not pretty I (have to admit) I am very happy with, it just didn’t look the way I was expecting hence the 4 star rating for cable and for value for money 5 star because (I think) the cable HAS made a difference to sound, just not 100% sure!?? but pretty sure LOL

Après avoir acheté un câble Ivanky (premier prix), j'ai acheté ce câble Audioquest car je possède d'autres câbles audio et HDMI de cette marque, et je note une réelle différence de qualité et surtout de précision dans la restitution sonore, sur mon installation en tout cas. Outre le câble Ivanky, j'ai pu comparer avec un câble Meta (plus cher) et le résultat de ce câble Audioquest Pearl est selon moi plus fin et plus musical. Les aigus et medium-aigus sont plus fins et le message est plus précis, et c'est très net sur les dialogues de films ou sur les musiques d'ambiance. Je ne note pas d'amélioration dans les graves, mais j'utilise un caisson qui prend le relais en dessous de 80hz. Bref un câble un peu cher mais qui pourra se justifier par une meilleure qualité sonore et musicale. Dans tous les cas, il vaut mieux l'essayer pour se rendre compte par soi-même.

Suena bien, es una marca, en la que confío.
