Very good Vegan fish product
Although I'm not a vegan I like to see how good the products are - and this product is GREAT

This tuno is pretty good. It mixes up like tuna but doesn't have any fishy taste to it. In fact it pretty much tastes like nothing. I've used it in tuna helper and made tuno salad with it and both were very good. It's a little chewy.

I have been a vegetarian for 30 years and am always seeking out seafood and meat "substitutes." I purchased this tuna various times over the years and it has generally been okay with me as I am primarily seeking protein. Recently, they must have changed the recipe, and I am happy to say that it is now the best plant-based tuna I have ever purchased. This is a product for those who does not want to eat flesh food. Understand that it may not taste "exactly" like tuna, but the texture is good, and it is a good protein source. Drain all of the water out before using and it works well. If you keep producing this product, I will keep buying it!

I actually like this product pretty well no it’s not as good as real tuna but if you’re a vegetarian, it’s pretty tasty especially if you use it to make a tuna salad biggest problem is it’s hard to find Amazon is often out of stock on this product but overall it’s pretty good. I’d give it a four out of five.

Okay so I’ve decided the bad reviews are from people who do not Know how cook or know how to season. My friend even said this was horrible but i wanted to try for myself and thank god i did. First off even real tuna is not consistent in texture and who the hell eats tuna out of a can without seasoning or anything? Psychopaths, that’s who. Regular tuna which i use to eat religiously always looked and smelt like cat food so y’all tripping. I just made the most amazing vegan tuna melt and it totally satisfied my pregnancy craving for tuna melts. This is what you do with vegan and regular tuna. Thank me later. Drain the can of the oil and liquid, then put the “tuna” in a bowl with 2-3 tbsps of vegan mayo, garlic powder, onion powder, dehydrated onions, dill, celery salt, regular salt, white pepper, black pepper and i put shredded vegan dill havarti and mixed it all up then put it on vegan gluten free naan but you can use any bread you like and topped it with more cheese. Baked it on 375 for 12 minutes and then you have literal heaven in your mouth. Yes it doesn’t have the texture of tuna and it’s a little more chewier but there’s no vegan product out there that taste like it’s non vegan counterpart, chicken, beef, cheese literally anything. It’s never going to taste the same so get that out of your head. Go in with no expectations and you’ll be overjoyed. But this is the closest you’ll get and with proper preparation, it will satisfy your cravings.

I decided to taste it before I added anything to it like mayo or mustard and I think it tastes like chicken in its texture but it has a definite sweetness to it that is more like shrimp. I don’t think it tastes like tuna but tasting like chicken and/or shrimp is more than a happy settle. I use it for making pasta salads where I used to use tuna and peas with mayonnaise, chopped fresh sweet onions and a little bit of mustard with salt, pepper and garlic. But since I’ve been vegan for 15+ years,I have been omitting the tuna and decided to give this brand a try and I’m glad that I did. I think it’s going to be a very nice addition to my traditional salad. And I love this salad cold with the days getting hotter on us.
