I’ve never seen pliers like this. Far superior to regular slip-joint pliers. The push-button adjustment is fat and precise. While not an absolute replacement for wrenches, these work great in a pinch. Far less likely to round off nuts or bolt heads.

Bought the Knipex pliers set thinking, “Oh cool, quality tools.” What I got were forged-metal deities sent from the Tool Dimension to make every other pair of pliers in my toolbox cry and question their purpose. These things grip like they took a personal oath to never let go. I tried to loosen a rusty bolt from 1983. The Knipex just smiled and whispered, “I eat corrosion for breakfast.” Bolt gave up. Apologized. Left voluntarily. And the build quality? NASA probably uses these to assemble satellites or discipline misaligned atoms. The handles are so comfortable I briefly considered replacing all my doorknobs with them. Buying this set doesn’t make you a mechanic — it makes you a legend. Your tools will respect you. Your neighbors will nod solemnly. Your garage will spontaneously organize itself. Highly recommend. 12/10. Would let these pliers babysit my kids.

In my opinion and according to some objective testing done by multiple independent sources Knipex make some of the best pliers in the world. This set that comes with the typical "channel locks" that Knipex calls "Cobra pliers" and the "twin grip" pliers that have rounded jaws on the sides and nose of the pliers and finally the star of the show the "wrench pliers". "Wrench pliers" are what you get if an adjustable "crescent" wrench, channel locks and vice grips all had a baby together and its fantastic. The "wrench pliers" use mechanical advantage from the top handle to force the jaws closed, instead of having to squeeze to keep the jaws closed when dealing with a stiff bolt all you have to do is apply downward pressure on the top half of the handle and that not only loosens the nut/bolt it squeezes the jaws together. I wish I had these pliers 20+ years ago I have only had them for a few days and have already used them countless times and could not be happier, they are typical Knipex excellent pliers with a unique and fantastic design. Not only that this set is only about $20 more than just buying the "wrench pliers" buy themselves so its a great deal.

Everything you would expect from Knipex. Very good quality, excels at what its made for. It is on the expensive side for sure but you get what you pay for.

I’ve used these regularly since purchasing. High quality and very handy. IMO they are worth the price.
