High Quality Tools
I got this set as a second set for my wood shop in my basement as you always need some mechanical tools even in a wood shop. All my tools in my large roll around are SK and I love them. The quality is fantastic, better than the other brands out there that people use. I bought my first SK tools back in 1973 at the huge manufacture ROHR in San Diego after getting out of the Air Force. Had them all these years until a fire here in NorCal destroyed them. I bout a complete set of SK tools to replace all those I lost. This small set is a bit lower set as I don't need as many sizes in my wood shop. I love this little set but the foam tray that holds them makes it a little hard to get the ratchet out of the foam. The foam is die cut and it is tight, that's both a good thing and a bad thing. But that's the only complaint I could even find. SK tools are high end, not cheap at all but I vouch for thier quality without question.

Excellent Tools
It's been a long time since I've seen SK tools for sale. I needed some 1/4" sockets and came across this set. It was more than I needed but the set seemed like a great value so I bought it.The quality of the finish and construction of these tools seems to be outstanding. The 1/4" drive functions very positively and works great in very tight spaces thanks to the 2.25° swing. That means you don't need a lot of room to remove/tighten a bolt. The size stampings are large enough I don't need my glasses to see them and the colored bands at the bottom allow you to quickly see if you have a metric (green) or SAE (black) socket. The chrome finish is excellent inside and out on the sockets. The inside corners of the sockets have a nice radius which prevents rounding of bolt heads. This is my first SK set and I'm very happy with it. I've had my other mechanics set of drives and sockets (Craftsman) for 40 years and only had to replace the 3/8" drive about 10 years ago. I hope these SK tools last 40 years.

Top of the line
I have been a mechanic all of my life. Up until 2 Yeats ago I would only use snapon, match or Mac tools. I always was having to get tools made up off the tool truck bc they just couldn't hold up to regular daily use. I bought some vintage sk tools and was hooked. The new style sk tools are just as good as the vintage if not better. I love my sk tools collection.

There's no hard storage case it's only a cardboard shipping box
Deceptive pictures, while the set is quite nice and well made the buyer is led to believe that the tools come in a case and actually they do but its cardboard and not something that will take a beating out in the field. it is true that the sockets are in a thick foam setting which will keep them neat and organized the missing case is a real downer. and for a hundred dollars you would think a case would be included. So SK nice socket set but you failed on the case all you get is three stars out of five
