Gift for my 15 yr old brother
Great figure in it's own right, especially for the 16 or so bucks i got it for. Neither me or my brother really knew anything of the character but the desert gold pallet serves the hound mold really nicely. Has all yhe bells and whistles of seige Hound but much nicer.

A Solid Figure with Good Playability
A good figure, that packs a lot of Personality into a pretty standard design. The fact that there's not a lot of clearance for the wheels at the bottom is balanced out by the fact that it actually has a bit of a cockpit that's another toy could ride in, giving it a lot of potential for play. And if you're wondering about the big headed characters, even I haven't figured out what they are; I just found a couple of them for $5 each in a weird toy store in Sheboygan Falls. They're the worst and I love them.

Deserves more respect!
A lot of people are bitter about this character because they have yet to get a new Hound with an Earth alt-mode. But to me Detritus is a cool use of the mold. His background and bio is enough to warrant his purchase. And as a collector he makes a great addition to the Mercenaries of the TF universe. So you won't be disappointed with this figure!

Good mold for use as a Hound custom
I used this toy as a base to repaint as a custom Earth-mode Hound. I think it turned out really well. The plastic material holds up well to repainting if you use primer and a matte finish clear coat. I used Tamiya rattlecan spray paints and good masking tape. The result is very convincing, in my opinion.

Was as described.
The product had some minor damage to the package. For a collector it might matter, but my purchase was for a teen who was going to open it. I would recommend this product other then to a collector.
