This is the second of these umbrellas I've had--the other one lasted about 8 years. This one seems lighter and turns inside out more easily but hasn't broken. I guess 40-50 mile hour winds is asking a lot. I do like the designs on black because I like black but I want to be able to pick my umbrella out when a lot of people have plain black.

After much researching for a quality umbrella at the best price I settled on this Knirps. Worth every penny. Wish I bought it years ago.

I have a lighter weight version of this umbrella but it got lost for a bit, so I bought this one. Knirps are the best. The stained glass pattern is fun on a rainy day.

Probably, this model is worth 3 and 1/2 stars because the build quality seems decent and the overall weight reaches normal parameters for the "light category". In other words, it is a small and light umbrella that does not properly protect an individual with the following stats: 1.8m height and 80 kg weight; if you are on the smaller side, it might offer better protection against the rain. Moreover, despite feeling durable (materials are good), it is really hard to use due to its highly uncomfortable handle (even for small hands), heavy shaking in medium to strong winds, and tendency to flip all the time. I do not know if this happens only to my item, but on multiple occasions the umbrella flipped even 5 times in the span of 20 minutes; the winds were not that powerful. If I would have had the opportunity I would have exchanged it with one of their newer models that seem to be available only in Europe.

These are the best BEST compact umbrellas. From Knirps. Push button to extend shaft and OPEN with a snap Push button and the canopy snaps shut to CLOSE. Case secures the umbrella when closed. From Netherlands, where they know about rain!

I’ve owned it for several months now. I like the fabric design. The auto open works really well and the frame feels sturdy. I like to spray my umbrellas with 3M scotchguard for extra waterproofing

Der Knirps entsprach genau der bildlichen Darstellung, auch in der Farbe. Konnte ihn bis jetzt noch nicht benutzen, bin dennoch sehr zufrieden mit dem gelieferten Artikel.
