OK they look pretty goofy but no one is going to see it after you install it so who cares. The important thing is THE DAMN THING WORKS! I’ve bought many of these so called guitar strap lock systems in the past and none of them were worth a hoot. This doohickey is easy as pie to install and actually holds the guitar strap in place securely and prevents it from slipping off the strap button. That baby ain’t going nowhere. Quality product at a fair price and it actually works. Hey, what else can you ask for? And you get TWO of them as well! This is the one you want amigos.

Better than I expected. Easy to install and strong. It is importantly to note that this PRO version is the new and improved. Some of the older review i read complained about the device marking the guitar and said they used something between the device and the guitar to protect. That is not the case with this new version, nothing extra is required and they don’t mark the guitar. I used to use Dunlops and have also used Shallers. I did not love those because they required replacing the strap buttons and stick out far enough from the guitar that they cause a lot of stress. I had a Dunlop pull out during a show this year and this damaged the guitar. Recently i got two new quite expensive guitars and i did not want to modify them so i tried the rok lok. I was dubious because they looked have plastic and i had never heard of them but they work great and they look quite good. Highly recommend.

Excellent strap lock. Easy to install on your strap, easy to take on and off but note, these do Not fit some thicker straps. For example, the stud is not long enough to fit through and make contact with the cap on some levy's padded leather straps. It will fit the smaller end of the strap but not the thicker one. Would be awesome if they made one with a slightly longer stud to accommodate.

I've had a set of these for about six months now. They've gone through probably 30 rehearsals and half a dozen gigs in that time, and they've performed flawlessly. I use them primarily on my bass (a G&L Tribute Fallout) on a Levy's basic wide leather strap. They stay in place on the strap and don't really ever need to be tightened. I never bothered with the protector pads on the locks, as this guitar has a poly finish and I don't think it'll ever wear on the guitar anyway. These work great for me because they are EASY to put the strap on (and take it off) but it stays in place. It would be easy to swap the strap to other guitars, but mostly I just use it for the bass as it won't fit in the case with the strap attached. The locks are pretty bulletproof, but I think (as others have mentioned) they are just a *bit* on the expensive side. If they were $10 for the set I'd probably have another 4 pairs of them. If they were $15, I'd probably have at least one more set. As it is at $20, I haven't bit on buying another pair yet. But all that said -- they are well engineered and seem that they will last a long time, so I guess you can't sell a product for too little if you're not likely to sell more when they break. Love the product!

By far the best 'novelty' guitar gadget I've ever gotten. I always kinda hated traditional strap locks, and this removes the need for those. This really does work on any strap button. I cut a circle of black felt equal to the thickness of the guitar to put under the strap buttons to avoid any potential damage. So far so good, no damage and you can't see the felt when the strap is in place. I've never had these come off while playing and I love that I can just use the one strap I really like on all my guitars now. Absolutely worth the price, these are fantastic.

altho the products does its job I have to say that the price is too much specially for 2 pieces of plastic, I would recommend if you have money to spend or if you need it for a really good guitar like my gibson les paul modern figured and you want to maintain everything original 30 bucks more doens't actually makes so much the diff. judge by the image, I think this is a bit of glue in my guitar due to plastic pads that come with the locks, I would say they really need to improve this pads for not having this kind of issues in the future

Rok Lok Pro is superb, it is a quality item and works great using it on my heavy basses. It really is the solution to a secure connection that doesn't require modification to my guitar. It takes minutes to fit the device to a strap and seconds to fit or remove strap from guitar. I love the secure click when fitting my strap. What I really enjoy is how my guitar still feels part of me with no restrictions in movement. When I tried the Dunlop system my guitar felt dislocated from me in a weird way. I'm glad I bought a pack of 2.

Great design and easy install and removal of guitar straps. Works well on large pegs, using on the larger pegs found on PRS guitars and works very well. Quick to add and remove a strap with solid design that looks to be durable over time and use.
