I’m a big fan of American Needle! Great construction, great design, and my favorite aspect is that they are a little bigger than most snap backs. I have a big melon and usually I have to connect the snaps on the last one pre two snaps. On their hats I can get two more snaps together. Just looks and fits better.

Hartford? The Whale? So, I visited Hartford last month and was somewhat appalled that I couldn't find a local place to buy a Whalers hat. Then I became somewhat obsessed with the idea and couldn't find a good classic logo on a trucker style hat. I was worried that this would feel cheap of be wonky when I bought it, but its a perfect slight A-frame, throwback style trucker. Similar to a New Era Nine-Forty A frame, but the crown is a little lower. Early buy, so no sense of durability, but this won't be an every day hat so its perfect for me.
