Brilliant…worth spending slightly more. Look great, fit great. I bought some cheaper ones, that looked naff and did not really fit ‘flush’. They crumpled and poor fit. No issues with these. Perfect fit and no issues at all with the sections of the Air maxes. The ones I purchased few months back will be consigned to the bin.

These ear-cup covers are spot on for protecting the AirPods Max, especially during workouts or long commutes. They fit the cups perfectly and stay in place, adding a comfortable barrier that stops sweat from soaking into the cushions. The material is soft, breathable, and doesn’t affect sound quality at all. Exactly what I needed to keep the ear cushions clean and extend their life. Excellent value and highly recommended.

I wanted something to stop my AirPod ear pads getting sweaty and ruining them, this product does that. I was apprehensive after reading some reviews but they fit mine perfectly and don’t affect the sound in any way. They’re comfortable and have lasted well so far.

These cheap and flimsy pieces of silicone, while they possibly would guard against condensation forming inside the earcups as well as sweaty smells on the ear cushions, are not worth the drawbacks. As soon as you install them (which I did under the guidance of the video from the QR code included in the package) you will notice a strong white noise that is not present when the ear cushions are uncovered. In addition, enabling ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) does very little to filter out external noise with these covers applied. This is likely due to the poor seal between the earcups and the side of your head that these covers create. When playing music, you will notice that the sound becomes extremely ‘tinny’, taking what is one of the best soundstages in consumer headphones and reducing it to that of sub-£100 unbranded Bluetooth headphones. This is likely due to the comparatively small number of holes through which sound can pass into these covers, in contrast to the uncovered ear cushions which are a thin fabric mesh inside. If these drawbacks sound worth it to you, you should consider instead returning your AirPods Max and buying budget headphones. You would be better off and maintain the same sound quality as with these covers applied.

Ok but sometimes the AirPods don’t recognise they are on your head and when you speak it sounds like your underwater to the person on the other end but stops my headphones getting sweaty in the gym.

Arrived today. They feel and look really good. Paired with the headband cover, they make the headphones fit even better on my head. They don’t ruin the sound quality in any way. I’m glad I don’t have to worry about my ear cuffs getting dirty anymore.

Firstly, I love them! They are going to stop the ear cushions from getting dirty, sweaty and they are easily cleaned. I like the grey, black print, it’s a bit camo style (I would have loved an actual camo style though hint hint) and I like the L & R in the cups. The fitting is really good and I don’t notice any comfort difference, I know someone said they did notice, but for me it’s not a problem at all. I don’t know material I was expecting but just to be clear for anyone reading this, they are silicone which makes they really easy to clean, I probably missed the material type in the description.

I had purchased Soulwit earpad covers and while they did a very good job at reducing condensation and protecting the ear cups, they still left the inner middle part of the earpads unprotected. These protect the outside and inner portion of the ear cup. I just went on an hour long walk and very hot and humid weather and I came back to see no condensation within the ear cups. The ANC is affected but to a lesser degree, maybe a 5-10% decrease in performance. These also change the soundstage of the headphones in a way that reduces the bass which for me is good as I prefer tight sounding headphones. The treble and mid range are largely unaffected. They do slightly increase the clamping force. For me, the silicone is more comfortable than the material of the ear cups, so even inside, I keep these protectors on. When installed correctly, there are holes in the silicone protectors that create an opening for the ear detection sensors in the ear cups. Be mindful to install them correctly because if installed incorrectly, the ear detection sensors will be blocked.
