Wonderful book for young children.
Having used this lovely book extensively as a stimulus for a Space topic when I taught FS children, I bought it for my granddaughter’s 3rd birthday. She loves the story and the illustrations!

Great timeless story!
I remembered this from when I was a kid, so bought it for my little one who loves it! Such a lovely timeless story of a kids imagination and getting messy before bath time! Have been reading it every night now as its a current favourite. Such a lovely board book version too, looks great on the shelf next to "Peace at last" in the same style. Highly recommend for any little one to enjoy.

5 minute read - Great for the imagination.
This used to be a favourite growing up and my children love it just as much! 5 minute read of a little bear full of imagination. EDIT - my son is enjoying this book so much, he has such an imagination of us going to the moon in a rocket and the things he would take with us. Really happy with this purchase and would recommend.

Still just as good!
I used to love this story as a child in the 90s so decided to buy it for my toddler. He can be a bit fussy about accepting new stories but he was attentive to this straight away. Really nice story, simplistic language and beautiful illustrations. (My husband's selling point would be that it's not too long to read as a bedtime story!) Despite it being nearly 30 years since I last enjoyed it it's still a lovely narrative and will be a firm favourite for my son I'm sure.
