Review: I absolutely love it! - I started reading Soufi Mon amour only few days ago and I'm already almost done. Elif Shafak manages to captivate you by presenting 2 stories in her book, one that is happening "now" and one that happened centuries ago. Both stories flow very smoothly, in parallel, but yet intersect on so many paths. She gives all her characters the opportunity to speak and tell their stories which is quite interesting as you get to explore everybody's realities. The book is also informative. It embeds philosophy, history, religion and other topics narrated in a very simple and captivating way. I'm learning a lot about Sophism and although many concepts are somehow familiar and resonate with you without prior knowledge about Sophism, the story is an eye opener to many underlying life issues. It's a journey you make together with the characters but also with yourself. I absolutely love it! Review: One of the best book I've read - Amazing book recommended to me by my boyfriend who's a Sufi! I love it!

I absolutely love it!
I started reading Soufi Mon amour only few days ago and I'm already almost done. Elif Shafak manages to captivate you by presenting 2 stories in her book, one that is happening "now" and one that happened centuries ago. Un livre rempli d'amour, de sagesse et d'absolu...un lien à travers le temps entre la Turquie du 13e siècle et les Etats-unis de nos jours...vraiment un bon moment en compagnie de Rûmi et de Shams de Tabriz
