Pioneer TS-WX130EA Space Saving Active Subwoofer with Built-In Class-D Amplifier

Bought this as a cheap and (relatively) easy way to get significantly better sound quality on my mx5. Shoved it behind the driver seat, spent 6 hours wiring it into the car’s amplifier and battery, and I now have a built-in back massager if I ever need it. Absolutely amazing sound quality and is loud enough the shake other cars at a traffic light if desired. All jokes aside I’d highly recommend it as it’s transformed my mx5s sound setup and makes driving way more enjoyable.

Better than expected, we squeezed this under the front passenger seat of an old Mercedes. And it has really added to the audio quality, in a car where we didn't want to cut holes anywhere visible.

This is really good. Sound is good and it was easy to install. Would prefer if there were 4 mounting points, as there are only 2 diagonal mounts which isn’t ideal. Small criticism though.

Amazing bit of kit

Superb, best sound I've heard in any car audio system. Lots of options to customise your preferred settings.

Installed under the passenger seat of my RAV4. This is a great little unit and providing you understand its purpose you won't be disappointed. In other words if you are looking for something that will create a mobile earthquake this isn't for you. However as something that will give your system a very pleasant upgrade it is perfect. It will help if you have already upgraded your existing speakers from the original ones to something a little better. Also having a decent head unit with a separate sub-woofer output and the ability to adjust the sub-woofer independently will make a big difference. The bass can be turned up quite loud but that is not the point of this. Where it sounds best is at medium level volume where the bass does not overpower your existing speakers. I listen to a variety of music from Soul, funk, jazz and reggae through to dance. All of these will be very pleasantly transformed to a much rounder and fuller sound where the bass is presented in a noticeable but not overwhelming way. Unless you are very confident I would go for professional installation where the fitter will be able to correctly set the gain level for you.

J'ai ajouté ce caisson actif TS-WX130EA pour compléter mes haut-parleurs Pioneer et le résultat est bluffant. Voici mon analyse : Les points forts : - Format ultra-compact : Il se glisse parfaitement sous le siège passager. C'est la solution idéale pour ceux qui veulent du bon son sans sacrifier tout leur coffre avec un gros caisson. - Rendu sonore : Ne vous fiez pas à sa taille. Il apporte une profondeur et une chaleur aux basses qui manquent cruellement aux installations d'origine. Les basses sont sèches et précises, pas "baveuses". - Amplificateur intégré : Étant un caisson actif (Classe D), pas besoin d'acheter un ampli séparé. Tout est inclus, ce qui simplifie énormément le montage. - Qualité Pioneer : Le châssis en aluminium est très robuste et dissipe bien la chaleur. Le petit bémol : - C'est un caisson de "soutien" pour améliorer la musicalité. Si vous cherchez à faire trembler les vitres du quartier, il faudra vous tourner vers des modèles beaucoup plus gros. Verdict : Un excellent investissement pour transformer l'acoustique de sa voiture tout en discrétion. Je ne pourrais plus m'en passer !

sound very good for the size .. i read some review that somebody have rattling noise .. ihave the same problem and i found that the screws was loose and after tighten them the rattle noise was gone and the bass become deeper and louder .

Super petit caisson donne un bon coup de pouce au basse, simple a installer.

Der Pioneer TS-WX130EA ist wirklich top. Die Installation ging schnell und ohne Probleme, alles ist übersichtlich und gut gemacht. Auch das Einstellen ist kinderleicht – ein paar Minuten, und das Ding läuft perfekt. Für die kompakte Größe liefert der Subwoofer einen richtig starken Klang. Der Bass ist sauber, kraftvoll und genau das, was man für ein kleines Auto-Setup braucht. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass so viel aus so einem kleinen Gehäuse kommt. Klare Empfehlung!
