So far the item worked as expected, I will recommend it, it is very easy to install therefore no issues at this time, very good product.

Very easy install, replaced a similar one that did not open and stop interior damage to the home, contractor came over wanted $325 for three minutes work to replace it, ordered it on Amazon got it on Sunday installed it, working great!

This float switch requires no modification to fit other float's receptacles. Also, the float is a solid piece that is less likely to fail than others with an upside down cup. I had an earlier version of this model for many years without problems. The others failed right out of the box or after a short time in use.

Check with a continuity checker or ohmmeter before installing. The one I received was defective and would not open the switch when the float was pushed to the top. I even put in a cup of water as a double check but no dice. I returned it

Seems to work well, wire gauge is somewhat smaller than what it replaces - seems like 22AWG, OEM was 20AWG. But it works, I didn't use the rest of the mechanism as I was replacing a faulty float only.
