My hips are 32. regular fits 32 to 45. where does all the excess band go? should i order a size down or would that be too small?

Thank you for your inquiry. If you order Size Regular, the excess belt will just wrap around your hip. And you will have the option to wear the belt over thick clothing. If you order Size Petite, you can only wear it under clothing since it will be pretty tight. I am size 32 (widest part of my hip) also, I personally like to wear Size Petite over a pair of leggings or under jeans. You can always try one size out and see if it fits. Why wear on the waist n not the back where the pain is

If you have sacral pain or lower back pain, the surrounding structures or muscles are attached to these areas. The sacral bones are attached to the pelvis itself. When worn around the hips it stabilizes the joint to minimize re-injury. Please chat with your doctor and find out where your actual injury is or pain is coming from and then you will know if the belt is a good choice for you.

Does this force correct posture?
