Pomegranate Pistachios

There's plenty I can say about this product, but perhaps the most revealing is that when it got shipped to me at the hotel, I held up a package and placed a couple of ounces in the hands of the three people at the front desk. They were enamored with the unique flavor as am I. The manufacturer sahale should realize they're teetering on the edge of overpricing this product and that there are some suppliers who are mis-stating the size of the packages. For portion control purposes, I stick with the small package which is under 2 oz, and 220 calories. However, I have to be careful because in some cases the unit cost is exorbitant, so I shop carefully for the packs of 18 and find that to be perfect for a daily hit! Now I realize there are some of you that would consider anything glazed with something sweet or spicy to be less than ideal, so don't buy it! I will tell you that when I have not been able to find the 1.5 oz size. I have languished because One A Day of this particular product makes me smile! So if you are a pistachio nut lover and like the idea of a pomegranate glaze, this is definitely for you! For emergency purposes, there are also vendors resale vendors through Amazon who sell the 4 oz size packages and sell them in lots of five. I will be honest with you that unless you parse them out into 2 oz little reusable dishes that are airtight, you might find that you put on weight since inevitably if the bag is open and you walk past it, your taste buds are going to say please please please. So I suggest shopping based on price per ounce and buying whatever works best with your budget. Just thoughtful so you don't end up eating multiple 1.5 oz packages daily, as at 220 calories each bag they add up quickly! So it's not a matter of do I recommend this, it's a matter of these are thoroughly addictive and anyone I've shared them with has liked them a lot! So it's about managing "my habit" at this point. I noticed at least one gigantic company, Planters, is now marketing similar products so suggest that like me, you stick with Sahale until they price themselves out of the market which could be tomorrow, and find the address of a 12 Step Program if your supply gets cut off. So far nothing else comes close. Freshness, crispness and amazing flavor. All 10s. Price point a 6.

These Sahale Snacks pomegranate pistachio packs are one of my favorite grab-and-go snacks. The combination of pistachios, almonds, and dried fruit with that sweet pomegranate glaze is perfectly balanced. The flavor is rich and slightly tangy without being too sweet, and the texture has just the right amount of crunch. Each bag is a good portion size for a quick snack or for tossing in a travel bag. They taste fresh every time, and I love that the glaze adds flavor without making the nuts sticky. Buying the 18-pack was a great deal and makes it easy to keep them on hand for busy days. They are ideal for hiking, road trips, or just a mid-afternoon snack at home. The quality is consistently good, and the mix feels like a more premium option compared to standard trail mixes. These are a great choice for anyone who likes a snack that feels a little indulgent but still wholesome.

This nut blend is delicious. Love the sweetness offset slightly by the pepper. Did not appreciate, however, the fact that the Best Buy Date is in 60 days. A little too soon I think. That said, have bought these before and will buy again.

My partner loves this Sahale snack. Me, not so much. I think it’s too peppery/spicy, but then I have an ultra sensitive mouth. As in, I love avocado but I can’t handle guacamole, even the stuff labeled “mild”. Anyway, back to the snack….full of pistachios (his favorite nut) and bits of dried fruit. And pepper. Lots of pepper. Partner says it’s perfect, I say too much! The small packages are perfect to use for car snacks, which is great because we live an hour to an hour and a half away from the nearest major store.

These were my go to field snack for a solid 4 years. I bought these a lot when I was in the army because theirs so many MRE's (bagged meals I guess you could say) that you can eat. I needed something different and found these. I loved the crunchy texture and flavor. Plus nuts are nutritious. If I didn't have a store a block away now that sold these I'd still be ordering them.

WARNING! NOW CHEAPER AT LOCAL STORE! The product tastes great and for that I give it 5 stars. Crunchy, delicious snack that we also use for adding into stir fry veggies! yum!!! The price has gone up since June. At the time, a 6 pack ordered of the Pomegranate Pistachio item here saved about $3.50 off of 6 bought at grocery store. Now, with this new price, it actually costs MORE for 6 thru Amazon, and you are better off going to the supermarket (most carry this line) and buying it there since you are going to be there anyway. Check other prices here though as the variety pack of 4 is a great deal. But the product itself? Love it!
