This item is a digital Anemometer utilised to determine wind speed, best suited to those interested in outdoor pursuits such as flying, kiting, drone flying, sailing, shooting etc. This item sits at the higher price point for these portable handheld devices, largely due to the separately attached wind sensor. Item arrives boxed in branded packaging, this contains a zipped material manufactured protective case, 3x AAA batteries, instruction booklet along with the device. The item is manufactured of what appears to be a thick durable plastic, it has a large screen and incorporates six face buttons to navigate the on screen functions, it features a separate wind speed sensor which is required to be plugged into the device. The item feels more robust and slightly larger in hand than the all in one variants that abound, the wind speed sensor is easier to place in difficult to access areas than an all in one device and it comes with a significantly lengthy cable. The screen is good and is backlit, the ability to unit change is also a nice addition and it has temperature and humidity sensing, on the negative side the device is significantly more expensive than most of the all in one devices and is not as portable once you attach the wind speed sensor to the device. It all comes down to what you require the device for, I found this to be excellent for drone usage when perched on top of a hill, the speed sensor could be held aloft whilst the device remained in my hand as those drone assistance apps cannot predict localised windspeed, the readings however were not dissimilar to an all in one unit I also took along This is great for difficult to reach places, but for general use may lose some of it's portability due to the reliance on the plug in attachment of it's wind sensor, it's also slightly more expensive than most but appears slightly more robust and should survive a few drops from height. The functionality, backlit screen and unit changing abilities are good, the temperature/humidity sensing a bonus and the plug in sensor and current price point either good or bad dependant on your usage.

A really clever gadget for measuring wind speed as well as temperature. Aside from being interesting, this would be especially useful for anyone who needs to record the elements as part of a scientific project or if you have a hobby or job in certain industries - especially as it allows you to record the maximum/minimum speed as well as working out the average. My husband does a lot with aircraft so he'll be pinching this to use on the airfield for wind speeds. It gives the option of recording the wind in various units. i.e. feet, knots, miles per hour, kilometres per hour, miles per second etc. It comes in a secure zip up case and is easy to fit the handheld monitoring device into the unit. Powered by 3 x AAA batteries, the LCD screen is clear, easy to read, and backlit. The screen displays a massive amount of information, and is fairly easy to use. You can switch between the units of measurement by short-pressing the unit button and to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature, long-press the same button. You then hold the monitor and the wind turns the fan, giving a real-time and constantly changing measurement of the speed onto the LCD screen. It's been very accurate so far. This is perhaps not something that you d use regularly unless your job or projects denote it, but even so, it's still a very interesting gadget. It's well-made, accurate, and not overpriced at £39.99, so I happily recommend this. I find it fascinating.

Genial para poder comprobar con que temperatura sale el aire acondicionado y analizar de que mejor manera configurar la unidad central

El Anemometro se nos entrega en una caja serigrafiada y dentro de ella se encuentra en el interior de una funda de transporte junto a el ventilador de pruebas, 3 pilas AA y manual del usuario. Este esta fabricado en plástico ABS de buena calidad y cuenta con un gran display retroiluminado para facilitarnos la lectura en situaciones de poca luz. En su cuerpo y bajo el display cuenta con cuatro botones que son pulsadores no son de membrana y esto es un punto que realmente me ha gustado ya que se nota al tacto cuando han hecho clic. Los botones nos valen para saber la media de la velocidad del aire así como la máxima y la mínima, también podemos cambiar la scala en la que queremos que nos de la medida, bien sea en Km/h, m/s, Mp/h etc... No solo podemos ver la velocidad de aire, también teneos opción de poder ver en metros cúbicos el flujo que sale de un aparato como puede ser un ventilador o un aire acondicionado como che hecho yo en el video que os he dejado. Tambien podemos leer la temperatura del aire y la humedad relativa de este datos muy importante si va a practicar algún deporte como puede ser el parapente, vuelo sin motor o con motor o deportes en los que influya la velocidad y demás datos del aire. Se alimenta por medio de tres pilas AA pero lo puedes alimentar con tres baterías recargables, yo os recomiendo las de Amazon Basic por su calidad/precio pues son imbatibles. Anemometro semplice nel suo utilizzo ( ovviamente non professionale ) , permette di selezionare la lettura della velocità dell’aria. Cosa interessante che sul display compare anche la temperatura e l’umidità . Consigliato er applicazioni non troppo tecniche

I’m Highly Impressed with what all this Digital Anemometer has built in to it that serves as an important tool to use when flying drones! The overall build of this anemometer is solid and made really well! **NOTE** The sellers ad states this product operates on 3 AAA batteries, However it Doesn’t. It comes with and operates on 3 AA batteries. Not a big deal at all, only want to point that out in case you’re planning on purchasing a lot of batteries prior to your anemometer arriving! I love the way the handheld wand can extend beyond my reach with my arm fully extended. It makes so I’m able to take wind speed readings at approximately 10’5” tall which is a great buffer height for drone flying as the only wind speed readings I’m able to achieve start at 33’ via app use. This anemometer offers a Ton of features and a Ton of Different ways to measure a lot of things. The best way to learn how to use this anemometer and take Full Advantage of Everything it has to offer is by simply reading and digesting the included comprehensive instruction booklet. I could try to explain things further, but it’s truly best to read the instructions and go from there. This device Isn’t hard to figure out but it does take the time it does in order to read the instruction booklet. I’m Highly Impressed with the number of different functions this anemometer offers as well as the different number of ways it can measure things. This is a Great Tool to add your f you’re into sailing, fishing, drone flying, and plenty of other hobbies that rely on Accurate Wind Conditions/Speeds.
