Regular vacuum attachments won’t do it?

If you are an engineer, or have the mind of an engineer, are very patient, and strong, you will be able to assemble this vacuum attachment. Otherwise, like many reviewers here, you will assume it doesn't fit together. It is not easy to explain the first part where you attach the black part to the tube part as the line up is important and there are no markings to match. But then you must use brute force to slide it down till you get the "click". I had to use two hands while I held the black tube between my knees. You will be leery of breaking it, but if you do, trust me that you haven't lost anything worthwhile. Next comes the fitting on my vacuum. I had to manually sort of tuck the blue rubber sides inside my attachment hole, but finally got it in. Next came testing. I turned my handheld vacuum on and tested the different suction levels by sliding the clear plastic slider up and down the tubes. I couldn't tell difference in suction, only the ease of sliding over whatever surface I was vacuuming. HOWEVER the clear plastic slider continually kept sliding back to the base unless I held it in position I wanted. So that was of little use. Then as others mentioned, only the fine dust particles went thru the tubes and any hair, little bugs or particles bigger than a Micron stuck to the ends of the tubes and required pulling off. So if what you are vacuuming has a lot of this debris, it would probably take you less time to empty it, wipe clean then put objects back in. The only use I would find worthwhile is keyboard cleaning. And a cloth or can of air would be a lot easier. All in all, even at this low cost, I find the dust attachment more trouble than it's worth. Your vacuum brush attachment would suffice for most applications. Not buying this vacuum dust attachment would save you a lot of angst, profanity, frustration and even possibly tears. It would be more trouble than it's worth to return so I'll just toss it in bag with other vacuum attachments for that rare occasion when I conclude this would be my last choice for some failed effort in vacuuming! Or maybe I'll just toss it in the bin!

I am a big cleaner and this was a birthday gift this year. I loved this the first time I used it, it worked very well and made it easy to dust the popcorn ceilings in our home. When I went to use it again, the piece that they give you to attach it to your vacuum tore in half. It is a somewhat stretch tube thing that is supposed to stretch enough to go over your vacuum hose. We have since wrapped it in electrical tape and it works ok-ish, you kind of have to hold it on now which sucks. I think if they improved this part it would be a much better product.

LOVE this product!!!! Just one complaint though ... the universal adapter is beginning to split / tear at one end and I've only had this product a little over a month ... !!! Can a new one be sent or do I have to buy the 'Clear Flex Tape" from another infomercial to fix this item from an infomercial??? Please advise!!!!

Works as described

I got this from recommendation from ChrisFX for using to clean car vents. But the little tubes are far too rigid and and the have this weird plastic piece keeping them together that's not shown in the pictures. The tubes are also way too small, so if one piece of debris/dust is too big it gets stuck at the entrance (or worse along the inside of the tube!). The suction is also awful, I keep hearing a whistling at the base where it connects to the vacuum, indicating an incomplete air seal (read inefficient). I don't know the product atleast picks up some stuff, so it gets two stars from me. But dang this thing is horrible.

I used this to vacuum my baseboard heaters and it picked up a lot of dust. It fit perfectly in the slots without having to take the covers off the baseboard heaters. Really good to fit in small spaces.

I wish I could give it negative 10 stars. It broke when I tried to put it together. I super glued it and it works, BUT my vacuum motor struggles to get air through the little straws and they clog up very quickly. Also can't really get dust, for example, in a drawer with small items because it will still suck the items against the straws and block them from collecting the dust. Oh, and good luck cleaning the dust out of all the little straws. Garbage. Don't waste your money.
