This winch is great, Ive used it on everything from getting my vehicle unstuck to hoisting up buckets from a dig site.

Good winch bad case
Winch is great. Case is bad. Handle has popped off several times when unloading, sending winch crashing to the ground when unloading.

I hate Casey LaDelle
I just beat the bag out of this like it owed me money. I single line pulled a Lexus NX AWD 4085lbs curb weight mired frame deep for resistance. According to my YouTube Wikipedia research that's approx a 10,000lbs initial pull. It didn't even stutter it just did it. After initial pull I pulled it sideways for 8ft due to being hooked to the wheel it just did it. I severely exceeded the capabilities of this winch and it took it. With proper rigging you will be able to do a lot well worth the price.

Rope broke first use
Winch rope broke on first pull!! Not sure if I’ll buy this brand again

Casey LaDelle made me buy it!
I saw it on Casey's YT and thought it'd be a good multi-purpose winch. I don't have a winch on my truck, but I do have recovery points and recovery gear. So far I have not needed it off-road, but I did use it to reposition a 1300 lb generator in my yard using the winch, a Yank-um extension and soft shackles.

Tree surgeon running a L200 4x4 plus tipper truck. If you go off-road, you need to assume you will get stuck at some point. This winch comes with its own steel mounting plate and everything extra is contained in the box. I didn’t want a permanently mounted winch which might get stolen and might not work when it’s actually required because it is sat on a bumper in all weathers 24/7. Good things: winch is easy to set up and use, comes with 2x 4000lbs strops and a pulley plus 3 steel widgets to attach them. We trialled it pulling a chipper from the front of my pickup. Simple to set up. Not so good things: the box is heavy. Not weighed it but I would guess 20-25kg and the steel mounting plate means if you are not careful it could cause damage. Overall: very good

Excellent, tried it out to see how well it works. Worked well. Easy to set up and does need a little know how, but if you’re buying it, you should know that. Could save a lot if the need arises
