It has really helped his neck pain
I bought the pillow for my husband. He looked at it like I just gave home a block of wood to sleep on. He tried it the first night and can't believe how well it worked. It's hard to explain, but it holds your head in place so it kind of stretches your neck. He even said it's comfortable watching tv.There was no smell when we got it and we are both very sensitive to smell. The price is WELL worth what you get!!

Love!
I was looking for a very firm pillow and I'm glad I gave this a try!So far, I'm loving this block pillow! I use it as my leg pillow on the 'firm' side and it's great for back and leg support.I have also used this while sleeping sideways and it provided great head support, however, when I use it on my head while facing up, it's too tall and stiff, so I only use it for legs, and head support if I'm laying sideways.

Good price and good value but it slides right out of regular pillowcases
I love this pillow. The price was right, it gives me the exact amount of firmness I need and I love that it has the soft vs firm sides. I like the cube style pillows because I have sensory issues and these pillow really help avoid some of the problems I have had in the past as far as that goes. I've definitely had less neck pain and headaches since I bought it and it's about 1/2 the price I paid for the Pillow Cube I had that only worked for about 8 months. So far my sleep has definitely improved and I haven't had any issues with it.Make sure you take it out of the box and leave it for at least 24 hours before trying to sleep on it. I've seen a lot of people complain about that issue in particular for pretty much every memory foam product under the sun. It makes a massive difference when you actually let it inflate (or whatever word you want to use) like it is supposed to.My only gripe is the pillowcase situation as it slides right out of my standard pillowcase. I'm going to look for a pillowcase with a zipper or something to keep the pillow inside the pillowcase.

Side sleeper win
I've been a side sleeper forever, and I've tried a bunch of pillows that say they're for side sleepers, but this is the first one that's actually shaped like it gets it. You don't sink into it like some memory foam ones where you're stuck in a divot; it holds its shape but still has some give, depending on which side you use. It has a soft and firmer side, and I have been switching between the two depending on how my neck feels. Some nights, I want it firm; other times, I want the squishier feel. It's weirdly satisfying to have both in one pillow. After opening, it didn't have any kind of smell, but I let it sit for a bit before using it, and it was fine afterward. Anyway, I didn't think a cube-shaped, cool-feeling pillow would be the thing I was missing… but here we are. I actually ordered two sizes, 5-inch and 4-inch, and I really like them both.

It’s alright..
Does not cool. Honestly has made me hotter than my other pillows. The firm side is definitely too firm and soft side isn’t much better. Was too high for me as well but that’s my fault bc they didn’t have my size when I bought it.

Great
Love how cool this thing stays, I’m not sure I’ll ever use the firm as its too firm, but the soft side is a good sweet spot between firm and plush for me. Would recommend for my fellow side sleepers

Soviet Block
Large side sleeper (6'3" 260lbs), I sleep sooo much sounder now. Its great to prop up my head when watching TV late at night as well. My girlfriend hates it. Calls it the Soviet Block. Well I'm gonna start calling her weighted blanket the "Iron Curtain"

Much Firmer than original Pillowcube
I have the ORIGINAL Pillow Cube, the rectangle cooling one and this is a great dupe but it is MUCH FIRMER. Thank god for the soft side, because this is very firm even with that. The original pillowcube I have had for over a year and at first when I unboxed it I got scared because it felt too soft. However, the foam on the original is very advanced and it sinks in just right before forming up in the center. It’s like your head is floating on a cloud and gives amazing shoulder and neck support and actually is amazing even for a back sleeper. This dupe doesnt do that but it DOES give great neck and shoulder support, it’s just very hard and yet I wake up with no shoulder or neck pain, therefore I am only taking off one star because it is still a fantastic dupe for the price. If it could be somewhat softer, it would be perfect. This is too hard for me to use it while sleeping on my back unlike the original pillowcube. I am a 5’2” woman and my original pillowcube is the medium height which is perfect, but sometimes I wish I had a larger one. So for this I thought I maybe wanted to size up. If this was a normal pillowcube, I could have, but this is simply too firm for the biggest size for my height. However that’s on me, and has nothing to do with me taking off one star. I would buy this again in the medium height and give the bigger one away. The pillow case is cooling but VERY difficult to remove and put on, so I just use a normal one.
