I researched so you don’t have to.
There’s a huge variety of options when shopping for teleprompters and a huge range of prices. This one is at the cheaper end but I’m here to tell you you need look no further. It’s well made, with high quality glass and great reflection for your phone or iPad. It first securely on a tripod and holds the camera securely. Nothing to fault with it really. It does mean you will nt be able to see your cameras flip up screen if you have one - but that’s true for any teleprompter. Recommend.

All good. Does the job for very little money.
Great! Only thing is you have to tighten the aperture at the back of the hood to make sure you do not get a spot of light when you use it without a camera, but that's a tiny thing.

I recently purchased the Desview T12S teleprompter and I am very satisfied. The build quality is strong and looks professional. It is easy to set up and works smoothly with my camera. The glass clarity is very good and text is clearly visible. This product is very useful for making videos and news presentations. Works great and it can hold an iPad Pro 13 inch model which is what I needed! Constructions feels solid, remote is responsive and works as designed. App is simple and straightforward.

Good all-metal construction and great picture through the mirror! The app is a bit wonky but was easy enough to get working with cut and paste. Remote works as advertised. Fits my iPad Pro without issue. Although it says it won’t work with a smartphone for a camera, I was able to get my iPhone 13 Pro Max to work with the supplied mount by adding a simple smartphone tripod adapter (see review photo). The hood on the back of the prompter covered my phone completely without any light leaks. Does an excellent job for shooting YouTube videos.
