Disappointing, older beans
I was very excited to try what was billed as real Mocha Java. I have only had it twice previously. These beans were, unfortunately, roasted quite a long time before I received the bag. The flavor was nothing like the Moka Java I remember - it was harsh, acidic, no hint of mocha whatsoever. This is my second purchase from this roaster and both have been low quality and overpriced. I can’t understand why their roasts are rated so highly. I will not be purchasing from them again.

I should have known there was a catch as to why actual Yemen Mocha Java was being sold for $20 a pound. It was originally nearly $40 but I got a 50% discount with the online coupon. But the coffee is old and stale. They should have stated this. Instead the description states: "We fresh roast on demand with our low emission roasters. " Clearly a lie in this case.
